Stars & Flames late game. Stars have come from behind at 0-3 to go ahead with 6-3 with 4 minutes to go still in the 2nd period.
Washington 'caps' their season with a loss. Playoff hopes for "Flames" extinguished.
Stars scored 7 unanswered tonight to win the series.

Islanders were a finely-tuned machine last night. Very well coached and their strong positional play stifled any and every chance the Caps may have had. They did as good a job shutting down Ovi & company as Montreal did against Pittsburgh. Props to Coach Trotz.
And what can you say about the Stars' comeback? Wow, just wow. Flames are gonna be kicking themselves over that collapse.

It was an exiting game, but I get the reasoning behind the play too. It's a ways to go before someone hoists the cup, so when they got up 2 goals so fast they laid back a bit for sure. Now, *I* wasn't comfortable with that, and I'm sure Hero Hart would have liked a bit more action on the other side of the line, but it worked out. The bench is mighty in Philly right now. I'm enjoying the ride.
Philly and the Islanders have a history of getting chippy. . .
