They've lost twice to the Sharks this season IIRC. Playing down to the level of the competition? I didn't watch the game but I know the Sharks are a bad team. Gotta win those ones.Stupid Leafs

They aren't going to be bad for much longer. They've lost twice to the Sharks this season IIRC. Playing down to the level of the competition? I didn't watch the game but I know the Sharks are a bad team. Gotta win those ones.
They are a wild mess sometimesLast night I watched the Avs game. If I had long enough fingernails I would have chewed them. Then we ended up winning by 4. Sometimes I think I'm getting too old for this ****!
I will confess I don't know anything about the Sharks' prospects for the future… I'm just thinking that a team closer to the top of the standings like the Leafs should be able to beat the team with the fewest points in the entire leagueThey aren't going to be bad for much longer.
To quote the Sharks' announcer, Randy Hahn, "The Sharks are the most fun last place team in the league." They've got a a legitimate Calder candidate (Macklin Celebrini), a killer core of young players, a fist full of draft pics, a deep stable of prospects, and $40 million in cap space. I knew going into this season that it would be a rough in the win-loss columns, but they've generally been in every game (lots of 1-goal losses), and they really are exciting to watch. Celebrini is only 18 or 19, and he's already elite. He's got 21 goals on the season. That's second on the team to Tyler Toffoli (27). They're probably a couple more seasons away from the post-season, but I expect them to sniff .500 next season.I will confess I don't know anything about the Sharks' prospects for the future… I'm just thinking that a team closer to the top of the standings like the Leafs should be able to beat the team with the fewest points in the entire league![]()
But they did beat the Leafs.Sharks bidding for last place and prime draft lottery positioning. They got brutalized by NY and LA.
Yeah, that's the paradox of the Sharks this season. We want them to get better, but we also want them to finish last for the draft picks. But they did beat the Leafs.
Yeah, that's exactly what's been happening on the other side of the state. Pens had put together a nice little streak where they won 5 of 6. Nice on one hand, but at this point, when wins don't matter, all they're accomplishing is dropping their draft position. And the Flyers are tumbling UP after winning their 1st 3 games under interim coach Brad Shaw. Sorry, forgettable season and now they start winning just enough to mess up their position in the draft. Stupid Flyers...
