New Jazz Day! Been looking for a nice looking Jazz bass, and picked this up over at Musicians Friend. Fender Player Jazz bass plus, Blueburst, figured top.

Strung her up with Ernie Ball Slinky roundwounds, (pink pack). low action, no buzzes, very comfortable neck. weighing in at a wopping 8.6 lbs.

I switched the stock black guard out for the white pearloid, really makes the blue pop.

Really nice playing Jazz for the money.

I also own this bass and love how the black pickguard looks on it. But that white pearloid really makes it pop. It's got me thinking now.

Yet another beautiful Jazz which demonstrates my theory that White Pearloid pickguards are almost never wrong.

That is my theory and I own it.
