No more Fender Precision?

It seems Fender has discontinued the American Standard Precision? It's no longer on their website, left hand only. Who'd have thought lefties were in such demand!!

I heard Fender will not produce basses anymore, this market is to small Always when they prepare and launch new series, they put eveything from their website. But the date is a bit strange, normally they use the NAMM show for new product lines. Maybe this year it's the german Musikmesse. (in a few weeks)

Then they could resume production next fall/winter. I know that Fender recently had price drops due to slow retail sales.

Over here in my hometown (allways wanted to say that) our local musicstores still have 2003 American standards
The larger stores have the newest Fenders though
