No serial number.What's that mean?

Update.I have word from a Woodo bass owner that his bass,also made by KHL.Co,does not have a serial number.
Woodo basses are Re-branded OEM Wolf basses.So Woodo doesn't put on a serial number after receipt from Wolf.(KHL.Co)

I expect the reason has already been mentioned; they're made to be sold under several company's brand names, so they don't have a manufacturer's serial number. And evidently, the companies that sell them don't bother, either. why? Who knows? FWIW, neither of my Eastwoods (baritone guitar and bass) have serial numbers. In their case, though, it would probably be a waste of time, anyway...
