(90s Pop) Invalid Link Removed - very popular in the states when it came out

(90s Rock) Bif Naked - I Love Myself Today - I remember the name, but not the music

(90s Rock) Tragically Hip - New Orleans Is Sinking - fairly popular when I was in college

(90s Rock) Invalid Link Removed - huge when I was in college and played here in Florida a couple years back

(90s Rock) Invalid Link Removed - another one where I know the name, but not the music

(90s Pop) Invalid Link Removed - I worked at a retail store where this was on the overhead video. I hate this song.

(90s Rock) Matthew Good Band - Load Me Up - another fairly popular band from my college years

(90s Rock) Treble Charger - American Psycho - awesome live act

(90s Rock) The Watchmen - Stereo - I think they were on one of the Tony Hawk soundtracks

Hahaha! I quickly skimmed this thread and the number of bands and artists that have been mentioned that I have worked with over the years and/or know personally is kinda freaking me out.

Paradise Skies by Max Webster has one of the best "P-bass played with a pick" tones ever put to tape.

God help you if you pronounce Bruce Cockburn's last name as it is spelled in his presence.

She Ain't Pretty is the worst song the Northern Pikes ever recorded. Their darker stuff is way better.

Lee Aaron and Darby Mills (Headpins) are absolute sweethearts.

Hugh Dillon (Headstones, now successful actor) is intimidating in person.

Everyone in Blue Rodeo's organization is super cool.

The Tragically Hip guys are also super cool.

My memory of those days are a little hazy too! Lol!!
I remember 10 Seconds Over Tokyo, Gypsy Rose, Glider. Uhhh? it's been too long... Haha[/QUOTE

Yeah, Brian the blonde guitar player from Gypsy Rose is my best friend. And I'm buddies with Tom from 10 seconds.

Lots of great bands back then man. I used to hang at some of the Detroit clubs too, the Hayloft, Harpos, the Ritz.
My girlfriend lives in Rosevile, she used to be married to the singer from Heavens Wish.

There was the short-lived band The Mynah Birds that changed lineups often. Rick James (the lone U.S. band member) Neil Young, and Bruce Palmer appear with some other players appear on this demo recording.
