A friend of mine once told me that you couldn't measure how old someone is by years, but rather by the way they drink coffee. He said that you started off with a lot of cream, and slowly worked your way down. By the time you liked black coffee, you were old.

Yes,we are all ages here,but as we have seen earlier in the thread, J.Crawford was denied attmittance to this club for haveing low levels of crumudgeon. I believe this presents a challenge for you as well.


I personally say "GET THE HELL OUT OF MY YARD" ,but will speak to mrjim. If I catch him before he starts his second bottle of rotgut,maybe he'll not be in such a horrible mood that he tries to hit me with his walker and call me horrible names.

ok, i'm 56 but i can still kick it out with the best of them. once i hobble up onstage that is. age is no barrier. i play in 4 different bands and do studio work. i've got carpal tunnel syndrome and basil joint arthritus. had 3 surgeries on my right hand in november. the pain is still there but at least i can control a pick. only thing i can complain about is people who assume, because you're older than them, that you're shot. well, fk you kiddie. go play with your toys. hand me a bass!
