These days I wake up with arthritis in my left knuckles and I remember lusting after vintage instruments first time round when they were new. Oh, and no good song has been written since 1989. Yesterday a seven year old (not related to me) advised me I needed to trim my nose hairs.

Somebody mentioned their first concert in an earlier post. Mine was Day on the Green. AC/DC was the opening act, then Van Halen, then Pat Travers, Foreigner then Aerosmith (who were so out of it they were bumbing into each other).

I also saw the Cars on their first tour opening for Thin Lizzy (awesome!!) and Kansas.

Jeez, good thing I have a number already. Wow, I'm old....
