NPD DSM Noisemaker OmniCabSim

Hey guys!!
Thanks for your great comments on the OCSD,..
The pre sale offer is up until the 30th so, take advantage to preorder yours..

The units for assembly arrived to chile last week, but customs are on strike so my plan to get them ready to ship them next week is kind of on jeopardy..i dont think it would take too long, as my deadline is mid november..i hope customs get back to work soon..

Well, the parts are here in Chile, and i´m just waiting for the delivery. I´m confident the parts will get here today..
so, as scheduled (and even a few days early), i will start shipping next week, FIFO style, probably around thursday, after assembly, testing, dedicated units, packaging, etc..

For US, shipping ussually takes less than 2 weeks, for Canada takes 2-3 weeks at most, and for europe is 2-4 weeks.. for australia is 4 weeks tops..
cheers!! and pull that trigger!!! :P

I love mine so much. I just wish there was a way for it to turn on when it gets power. I always wonder why my IEM mix sounds harsh, then halfway through realize I forgot to reach behind the rack and power on the OCSD :/
Yup.. i included the OFF state when powered because it has resonant filters inside..so if you power it and it´s ON, and you have the resonance control Up, there is a huge OOOOOOMPH while the power capacitors charge (like 100 milliseconds)..I hated that on the prototypes, so i had to make it start on OFF position.

the stomp switch is a momentary spst, so, if you know how to use a soldering iron, you could solder 2 wires to the stompswitch lugs, and with an external switch, you could make a "remote control"

Sir I'm too lazy to reach behind my amp what you are talking is straight up wizardry :p

It's not the biggest problem, just something I need to add to my routine of turning everything on. All of the momentary switched pedals on my board need to be turned on or off anyhow on setup.

Anyone have experience in what ways this compares to digital cab modelers like on the Zoom B3?
Mostly, the OCSD lets you construct the cabinet from key parameters, opposed to the preset-based digital ones.
There´s also the lag issue, if you´re using a digital cabsim, and splitting the uneffected sound to your amp, and the effected sound to the board, there´s a lag time (miliseconds) that may cause an undesired "chorus" effect..the OCSD is analog, so there´s no lag.

I've pulled the trigger last night! I'm so excited to get mine!! I'm sure I will use it all the time. I do a lot of night playing with headphones also, and it doesn't sound very well when using OD and distortion, so the OCSD will take care of that perfectly. I'm very happy!
la raja!! me llego tu pedido

Hi Daniel. Were the pedals able to be shipped out this week?
Shipping was planned for mid november, but i wanted to ship them this week. But chilean customs service is on strike so parts got a few days of delay, and now nothing can enter or get out of the country. I'm now preparing the units for shipping and testing them one by one..but i can't ship them until the strike is over..
I sent an email to all pre order customers informind the status and a few bounced back, maybe your mail was one of them..

I really think I'll be shipping them next week, i don't think the strike can hold that long..
