I use these, on recommendation from my buddy, and they're excellent. But the time has indeed come to upgrade to EBS cables.
Nice 60s vintage plug ends on those cables. Get some from this millennium, you'll be fine.
None of those would solve this:I would turn this around and say that the patch cables are a bad design.
Any of these would work fine.

Exactly, when I looked at the picture I didn't know the in/ out were that close I just hate buying things to make something I just bought work. These are fairly large much larger than a MXR style pedal more than enough room to make better design choicesNone of those would solve this:View attachment 4713230

Agreed on top of the fact I can't get a good phaser or env filter sound out of it. Maybe I just need more time with them all of the demos I've heard have them sounding really good. I'm still waiting for the magic..The input and output being that close is one thing - but the power?
As far as I can see, you won’t be able to use anything but a straight jack for the output, as the 9V plug will keep any angled plug from seating properly, large or small. If they had put the power in the middle, there would be room enough for both input and output, even with the pancake jack plugs you’re using, and the power wouldn’t interfere with anything.
Ok Mu Tron why would you put the input and output so close together...View attachment 4713011
Shrink the device small enough, you're just forced into this sort of thing by the relative lack of real estate to place everything.
The older ones . . . . didn't have that problem.

I'm playing through a schecter P5 and with those settings I really can't hear much quaking...very subdued same for the phasor iii, any suggestions to make these sound good?
I was talking to the company its called Mu Tron correct?if this is called a micro-tron
then i propose that this should be called a mega-tron
I'm going to +1 this fine gentleman's opinion.
The second one is a bit phase, but I know you were making a funny (insert smiley face)if this is called a micro-tron

It makes sense…. until you have a narrow enclosure with TWO footswitches. You have to have tiny narrow feet and pointy shoes to use this in a pedalboardWhen the world demands top jacks and tiny enclosures, this is the inevitable result.
I’ve given those plugs every chance to show their worth over the years and they failed miserably over and over. I will never use them again. There are many better right angled plugs out there. Cut your losses and get rid of them.I purchased these last yr
