NV215 in da house

Your comparison says a lot, thanks! I'm all about the throaty mid rock'n'roll vibe, so I'm glad I have the NV610.

Well, until Jim announces it, it's not "official", but I think that the NV215 is the most likely cab to be dropped. I think that the NV610 sells better, so I don't know that he would drop the entire line. You never know, though. A manufacturer has to stick with what sells. I think that people have a certain expectation from 15's, and without hearing how tight this sucker is (and without hearing the killer "unharsh" clarity from that 6" mid), people just don't appreciate the NV215.

Me too....my back went south a couple years back, and thats the thing that keeps me from getting a NV line cab.....probably the 2/15 because I have a 2/12 MusicMan with a 6", and I dig the tone. Jim has dropped great lines before.....I still have my HT310 & HT212 cabs.....and they are awesome! Whatever he replaces the NV215 with, I'm sure it will be awesome too. :bassist:

I don't think that Jim believes that you can make a sealed box that small (1x15) and still make it work right. I could be wrong, though.

Either way, I'd love to see Jim make a 1x15 and/or 3x10 again. Or heck, a 2x12.

The only problem is that unless you are a top flight, experienced engineer, you aren't going to have a chance to design something better than what Jim could come up with. ;):p

Until I hear this from a reliable source I will continue to save up for one. The Bergantino shop is somehat close to me in MA. I wonder if Corey from Rock City has heard anything. He's in contact with Jim frequently.

...not "might", DO it! Find out & report back, we'd love to know. After I received my first I called him about a second & how much I loved the NV215 & he replied with what I said. Jim is a great, standup guy that tells it like it is. Hopefully, if he gets enough calls/orders, he'll produce more than what he has left...
