Wings look terrible, too many injuries, no moves at the deadline. I'm concerned about Howards second injury, but they don't have enough depth to overcome the loss of Datsyuk, Howard, Lidstrom, Bertuszzi, Erricson, Kindl, and today Franzen isn't skating. Damn, they were amongst the best teams in the league healthy and a great shot at the division, now they look like crap.

Pens rag dolled the Devils. Crosby looking incredible. Cooke with another 2 goal game. Lady Byng here we come!

Whoa....big win for the Pens. That game had letdown written all over it. Matt Cooke is racking up goals like how he used to rack up penalty minutes. I saw where the Pens outshot the Devils 43-14. I still have some concern about all the minutes Fleury is playing. History says he'll burn out in the playoffs.

Philly.....what's the deal? Come on now. I really wanted you guys to beat Boston and leave the Bruins as the 7th seed. If the Pens don't overtake the Rangers and it ends up being PIT/PHI in the first round, that is going to be one of the best playoff series in the history of the NHL.

Well, the shootout let the Flyers down yet again. Bryz was 0 for 3 against the Bruin shooters. Flyers kept pace with Read and Giroux beating Thomas to keep it at 2-2. But then Bergeron beat Bryzgalov, and Briere couldn't beat Thomas. Flyers did a good job of coming back from 0-2 to tie it and send it into OT. That second point would have been nice though.

I had a bad feeling about this game. Boston had been struggling, and I knew they'd be up for a game against the Flyers. Doesn't get any easier tomorrow with the sizzling Pens coming to town...

True story - had tickets to the Jets/Capitals last Friday night game but our band got a booking about 2 weeks ago. Took one for the team and gave my business partner the tickets.

Probably missed one of the most cranked up games of the season. Part way through the 3rd period the fans were chanting "Crosby's Better." Obviously aimed at Ovie.

Positive side.....have tickets to tonight's game against Carolina. Another must win for the Jets so the MTS Centre will still be a madhouse.
