I have no problem with them losing as long as long as they play it hard, which they did.
We probably won't hear about Boychuck until tomorrow, but it didn't look good. I hope this doesn't mean we'll have to see Corvo in the playoffs.

I've always assumed that Pronger's career is over. However, somebody commented (during one of the Flyers recent games) that Pronger has had some real good days recently. Whatever that means. Might he come back? It's definitely a possibility. And maybe the Flyers really think he WILL come back (at least next year) since they haven't given the Captain's sweater to Giroux. Tough call.

I also heard that Meszaros is "ahead of schedule". I hope so...

At the first game where Pronger was back attending, they showed him up on the screen and the crowd went nuts. He didn't react at all until his wife showed him what was going on. On his good days they say he still seems to be acting much like a puppet and not really "there."

I don't think there's many that expect him to ever play again.

IF we can get through the first round, we should get Meszaros back. A healthy Meszaros and Grossmann would help out immensely. And don't look now, but the Devils are sneaking up. If they were to get past us, the Flyers would drop to the 6 spot and play the 3-seed instead of Pittsburgh in the first round.

Kubina looked really, really bad last night. He may still be hurting and we don't know it. Would be great to get Meszaros back in time for the playoffs and have Grossmann back in the first round as well!

I really don't understand the Bruins uproar about the high stick on Letang.

Did he get hit in the face? Absolutely. That's a penalty. Did he embellish it? Of course he did. Just like 90% of all NHL players would likely do. It cracks me up hearing Bruins fans whine about this like Penguins are flopping all over the ice and that's how they win games. Every team in the league is just as guilty.

I just find it hilarious when clips like this exist:

Not to mention Marchand does more diving than Michael Phelps.

According to Flyers assistant Craig Berube, Malkin and Crosby are dirty players. This is shaping up to be one epic playoff series. I wonder who will be left to play after Saturdays game. :)

Then you got the crap Milbury said about Crosby and Bylsma.

That was such an awesome play!

The Milbury crap is so ridiculous. I always thought he was an idiot before, but he should be fired. It would be one thing if he was an analyst or announcer for a local broadcast, but come on. Talk about a lack of professionalism. He is a joke and most people know it.

Also, what kind of world do we live in where Crosby and Malkin are called the dirtiest players on the Penguins when Matt Cooke is still around?! Guess it's even a bigger testament to how far he has come this season.
