Now we need someone to do that with the Basscultures pickups.... Funk Factor???

Man....that would be nasty as all hell.
If I were to do that I'd probably opt for the stock pickups as I have an extra one.
I'd like to have both wired as the new pickup model ( front coil-rear coil-or both)
Steve...you have this wiring thing down...help a brother out
I think I would prefer the front pickup just a tad closer to the bridge than yours, Steve

I almost got rid of my ATK500 with the BAsscultures/Glock setup

I'm a fan of Mudvayne and love Ryan Martinie's recorded tone with his Warwicks ....saw 'em live and couldn't hear his bass to save my ass.
It's been the same with every band I've seen where the bassist played a Warwick.
I've had peeps play my bass while I sat out front....ain't no way in hell I'd ever sell that bass....live or recorded that bass stomps major ass

Ehh I have rosewood on my atk.. Meh. I want a matching 300 or 305 with maple just cause I like maple on it so much more (but not enough to trade my ATK for one with maple)

Haha... i totally understand, my ATK is a maple neck... so i kinda want one with rosewood... i would love a 750 w/rosewood board

It just so happens that Dave Bunker has a few of his tension free necks AND bodies left over from the original USATK run in the 90's but....he can still custom make ya one if those get gone.
I have snagged a beautiful neck to put on my 3EX1 which will be strung B E A D

At the moment my only other plan is to add a Glock to the original pickup and see how that sounds before I jump on another Bassculture pickup.

What kind of ballpark price for a 4 string neck are we talking about?

You really have to stop raising the bar on these ATK's! I can't kept up....I don't even have a Glock yet!

P.S. He is a heck of a guy and very patient.I just ordered a MM cutless neck and a ATK neck for my 95 fretless.Great prices,they are about 250.00 to 300.00 depending on what you want.Thats right tell him Greg or Paul sent you.Mostly me,HA HA

ATK's are the only bass I'm interested in.
All of my GAS related purchases/mods are to make mine the freakin' bomb....to be all they can be
Every penny I've spent has been well worth it.


250.00 clams with a gloss finished maple fretboard. The back of the neck is unfinished as well as the headstock.
Dave will quote you a very reasonable price to have them finished.
I got mine with a satin finish on the back...black finish on the face of the headstock with a Bunker logo

I can't divulge my sources, man ... but yeah, Greg hooked me up with the initial info regarding the necks ....but I hooked Greg up on ATK's

Because of him I own 5 of them now,95 ATK300 FL,95 ATK305,ATK700QM,ATK 700BM,ATK750 KOA.Darn you Paul but I still love my MM's too. P.S. Paul is a good buddy and a great player.

I have 3, ATK300 Redsparkle, ATK700 Bluemoon, ATK750 Koa, but I wouldn't mind adding a fretless and a USATK to the family. I only play 4's, but I would buy a 305 if the right deal came up and I had the cash on hand.

Funkfactor is the King of the Ultimate ATK, with his neverending quest to get the most out of them....but I could see Steve as a challenger to the throne, with his double-bucker. Justin is in the running too, with that fretless neck! These are awesome basses!

Ibanez won't advertise the line and get behind it....just doin' what I can to spread the word.
Greg ( bassman28)and I have spent a lot of time on the phone talking about them.....now he has more than I do ...damn it.
But....I can cover a lot of ground with the 3 I have.
After I get my Bunker neck, I'm gonna try to let it ride for a while as I'm trying to buy some recording gear....can't do but so much on my Micro BR and BR 600....
But ... Greg's really gonna have to quit callin' me, tellin' me about this deal and that he's found.....and I've told him just that
I am one broke ass brother on a budget that keeps gettin' tighter.

I really want to hear back about the Bunker neck when ya'll get them. Do they add much weight or make it neck dive? And what is the profile like? I'm glad you're going to let it ride for a while...maybe I can catch up some!
