Just finished setting up the Black Sparkle ATK305 I picked up for my church.
There was a bit of fret sprout, but on the other hand, I didn't have to tweak any loose tuners, as I did on my 3TS. After cleaning up the frets, rolling the freeboard edges slightly and buffing out the neck, it's a very comfortable player. I understand that the necks on the 4-banger are a bit clunky, but I find the profile on the 5-strings very comfortable.
This one was inspected in 2007. It's a few ounces lighter than mine, but now that I've cloned the setup, they sound remarkably similar. These basses are very consistent, if these two are anything to go by.
