I'd like to join the club. :)

My trusty and beloved ATK300 has just received company: A brand new ATK1200. Pictures when I get around to it.

Good luck! I just bought one too...about 15 minutes ago...feeling a little poorer now. On the bright side, no state taxes and free shipping...
Sold a nice 5 string SR5 recently. Never could get with the B string. I play upright 99% of the time. Wanted a nice 4 string to keep for a while. Got it.

I've been toying with the idea of selling my ATK. I have a 300-triburst finish. I really like the tone I get out of it, but I can't get used to it as far as comfort. I'm a thumb anchor guy so when I try to anchor my thumb to the pickup, it falls off. Also, I dig in pretty hard so I hit the pickup with my fingers. Now I know this could all be corrected by correct technique, etc, but for some reason it is throwing off my mojo when these things happen. I also find the neck to be pretty chunky for me. I'm used to an SX P/J that I've had since I started playing bass.

Any interest out there? I'd be willing to entertain trade and purchase offers, but really wanted to just test out interest to the ATK club members first. Thoughts?

I don't really want to replace all of the tuners though so would it be the musicman one?

I don't think so. Assuming that your ATK has the same size tuners as the Indonesian ATK300's and 305's that MF was blowing out last year, the replacement Hipshot tuner is the HB7. Fits MIM Fenders, ATK's, some Squier's, and other Asian basses with the small-backplate cloverleaf tuners.

I believe the detuner in that size, is called the BT7.

Cheers Zomb13! :)

Does anyone put there have or seen an ATK310 in soda blue?

I've spent many, MANY hours trying to track one down for a long long time now and can't find one anywhere except Germany, but they won't post to Australia :P

Think I'm going to have to settle for the 200 in soda blue.

Hey hello! Here´s my japanese bad boy. Can I get a number for him?

This Saturday I will be making the 6 hour round trip (according to Google Maps) to pick up my 1995 ATK300. $200 didn't seem like a bad price (already put down $100 deposit), although the road trip to pick it up might seem a bit extreme. The thing is that I've wanted one for a while now, and this particular bass is in excellent shape as best as I can tell from the pictures.

Have and look and fork over my membersip card!! :hyper:
