Ok.. They're crappy pics taken on my cell phone..

ATK1200 prestige (everytime I see prestige I think 'worldwide.. Prestige!'.. Some will get that reference.. Most won't! )

I strung it with flats yesterday and about pee'd my pants, I've never heard anything so fine in my life!

I recently purchased a 95 ATK300, my first ATK, and I have to say it is amazing. After all I have read on here about the ATK series I had to have one. I have now ignored all my other basses for the better part of a month because I can't put the ATK down. Thanks guys for giving me the low down and helping to convince me to buy this amazing bass. :)

And if it's not to much to ask I would love to be part of the club. :D

I really like the looks of the new ATK1200. The new ATK pickup is a serious departure from the old, which doesn't make the diehard ATK people happy, but I'm glad its a more standardized MM route with MM wiring that enables neck/parallel/bridge switching. That's what I've been trying to do to mine, but it isn't possible without going to a strange switch.

My ATK700 has been a great guitar. My wife picked it up for me for Valentines daya few years ago when they were blowing them out for $300, Jack Read routed it for a P pickup (which required cutting off half the bridge, only a good thing in my opinion). I've got it wired to an OBP-3 with a blend pot and a push pull mid switch. The toggle selects between parallel and bridge coils. I don't love the unidentified P pickup that's in there now, and it needs a pickguard, but this is a killer bass, and my go to four string for all my rock and pop needs.

FINALLY SOMEONE DID THIS!!!! AWESOME!

I dropped the price of my 750 Koa to 400 shipped conus, with a nice road runner deluxe gig bag...here's a pic..:

I need the quick cash quickly or I wouldn't be doing this, I love this bass..I don't think there is a scratch on it, and it is about as close to a perfect build as you will ever find. I think Bongolation is the only other person here that got a top with this much figure. If I had the cash, I would still pay the original 750 for it.

I wish I had the scratch. I'd love to add a koa 750 to the lineup and yours sure is purdy.

@mr.mow-That prestige is just down right sexy. Nice score.:bassist:

Thanks to THand it's time for me to reinstate my status as ATK ARMY #172:hyper:

I've previously owned everything from a Bunker USA to a couple Paul Gray Sigs... but this will be my first ATK750... with an incredible KOA top to boot:bassist:

That beckons the need for soundclips.

I'm glad you guys like it, I love it. Unfortunately, I'm pretty much incapable of producing a decent sound clip, but I'll see what I can do.

Has anyone added a detuner to their ATK? I've read its a bit of a pain on these basses due to the headstock configuration and the neck bump. I love the neck bump, but it does interfere a bit on my Corvette, and the ATK's is more pronounced, so I can see it being trouble.

Also, can I get a #?

Glad to hear that you're the one snaggin' THands 750KA, Ubnomnar.
Although I hate hearin' that he needs to sell it.

I just picked up a couple o' new ATK's,....a 95 5 string and a 750KA.
That makes 5....I gave a friend my Bunker neck and I'm putting the original neck back on my EX1. It's in the shop having the same neck mods that I've had done on my 750QM and 300 tri-fade.
After the honeymoon was over I just wasn't that thrilled with the Bunker neck.....oh well.
Just got a bridge from a 200 series to put on that bass...Loading it with a '76 voiced MM from Seymour Duncan with the John East MM Preamp>
At some point I'd like to get the EX1 refinished in Burgandy Mist....have to see how that goes though.
I'll get a few pics up of my new additions shortly

I've been watching the ATK market ever since I sold my PGB1 a few months ago. THands beauty was the perfect ATK at the perfect time to draw me back.

I had a trans black 95 ATK305 and it was another of those "why the heck did I sell it" basses. The only answer is GAS.

Awesome Funk... 5 ATKs is a nice herd, especially given the choice mods you perform to make each one unique.

If I recall the details of your neck mods... your luthier levels and planes the fretboard for a flatter 14" radius and then puts some sweet crowns on the brand new frets he installs.

Have you tried stainless steel frets yet?

What size frets do you prefer?

I'm still waiting to see you get a purple sparkle paint job:bassist:

That is a True Beauty.

I've owned two GWB1's and a G104... top notch work by the Japanese master luthiers.

My new 2008 Ibanez ATK300 in a beautiful Red Sparkle. This paired with my Stingray 4 makes an AMAZING team for gigging, practicing, recording, and everything else. I do admit, I like the mids better on the ATK however! Thanks Anthony!

Both basses are perfect for what I do and they each have certain qualities about them that the other doesn't :bassist:

Only two pictures for now, but I will post more later on. I JUST got outside in time for the sun to be at its best!

PS: What's my number? :D
