I have a 750Koa and a 700BluMoon.
You obviously have more tonal options with the 750, plus my 750 is 1/2 lb to a lb lighter than the 700.
The build quality is very similar, but for some reason I can't explain, the 700's neck feels perfect. They should feel the same, but I can feel a slight difference, also I had to polish some fret ends on the 750(very slight fret sprout). Never had to on the 700, and they were made the same year at the same plant.
Both are great basses though, and not just for the money. The build quality is on par with anything MIA, IMO. I can forgive the fret sprout, because that can happen on a maple neck and doesn't necessarily reflect bad QC because it likely happened after leaving the factory. Plus is is an easy fix.
That just my experience with both.

What's that all about??? I guess I was concentrating on the ATK700 control schematic page, which is great, but what's "awful" about the rest of it?
It has gotten to be mostly fluff. Back when I still had a fair amount of spare time to dedicate to the site it was full of tips and info relating to bass building, motorcycle racing/building, bicycle building, med format film photography including Rollei TLR and box camera repair tips. Stuff related to some of my hobbies and things I learned to do and not to do from past projects and experiments. Most of the data was lost a couple of years ago after a series of very unfortunate events concerning the server and my hard drives. Talk about bad luck.
I just haven't had the time to recreate it and make it interesting again. But thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate it.
During your recreation, please keep the ATK stuff.

Yes they are! Would like to bid on this, but shipping to Hawaii according to the seller is $300, which combined with even the starting bid price puts it into a price range I'm not willing to consider. Fortunately, I already have a lefty ATK, in that same color.
Ibanez stopped production on the ATK fretless years ago. Your best bet is craigslist or evilbay and hope you get lucky. I've been looking for one myself.

I don't have a clip, but I did try it. I turned it back around though. At best I could not tell a difference, at worst if I really tried and used my imagination, I could hear a change and it was just muddy.
The way I figure it, some sound engineers somewhere spent time figuring out the pup configuration and came out with the original design. That's the way I have mine now.
I didn't turn mine. my 750 activates the front and back coil separately with the 5-way switch, so I can hear what it sounds like. I can hear a difference, but I prefer the coil closest to the neck activated (usually). So I decided to just leave my 700 as it came stock, and not turn it.
Last page I claim to have seen a nice full color layout of the 750's control scheme. Now I can't find it. Does anyone know where that thing is hiding??
Okay now I have another question for the ATK experts here.
If there were a trade between a Musicman Bongo 4HH and a USA custom shop ATK 750, which would be the "better" bass? I'm thinking in terms of assumed build quality, demonstrable versatility, and perhaps resale value, though I think the MM has that just due to the name.
Aside from the pup style difference and the fret count and the body shape and etc... Which side of the trade would you rather be on; The guy who gets the MM or the guy who gets the custom shop ATK?
Both basses were born some time in the last three years.
