You can't beat that! Congrats on a sweet deal!

Haha thanks !

Here it is once again with a little of buying and flipping the amp my free Ibanez ATK300 , made in 1995. It has some wear , the jack is scratchy and the homemade pickguard the previous owner made is sloppy so i took it off.

My main bass I am now trying to sell a 1500$ bass because its not needed I love my ATK.

Now i gotta find a way to repair the cracks in the case it came with.

1995? Where was it made? The preamp was on a big board back then, right?

Since you are selling the american fender, I'm guessing it sounds great ;)

That pickguard doesn't look bad in the pic.

Congrats again on an absolute steal! :)

Yeah there is a big piece of plastic on the back and the battery is under that unlike on the newer ones the battery has its own cavity. This one also adjusts at the headstock not heel . This one was made in Korea/

Yeah it sounds awesome I am just not in to the P sound with flats , an atk with rounds is a great sound.

The guard was just really sloopy around the neck , since the bass was free I can spend some cash on a new one but I like it without one.

btw I bought another ATk because I am loving these got it fro 250$ pics later.

here's my ATK 305

i was looking for a versatile bass that won't make my wallet bleed... tried this bass and instantly fell in love. :)

...will change the pickguard to a mirror one soon, i'll post pics once it's done. :)

I would like to be added to the club as I just bought a ATK300 (the guitar center version though so the ATK3EX1 or whatever) musicians friend had a sale for $299 so I got it price matched..

I like it way better then my old bass (SR300) and the other bass i was looking at (Sterling Ray)... It sounds, plays, and looks perfect for the way I play. Very happy with my purchase... Planning on putting on some rotosound flatwounds, and itll be dreamy! maybe some pics later.

Lazarus, sounds like you have two nice basses already! I own 3 ATK's and play hard rock, punk, stoner/sludge and metal. Between my amp and an ATK I can get whatever sound I want. Only you can decide what is a good choice for you. See if you can find one in a store somewhere and try before you buy. As far as "bad ass" goes, I like the appearance of my ATK3EX1 and my ATK 300RSPBK. I also own an ATK 305TFB, but I think I've seen that one online in a 4-string model. Google away my friend and good luck to you!

I would like to be added to the ATK club as well. I just got my ATK300 delivered two days ago from Musician's Friend 2 days ago. 299.99 as part of their anniversary sale. Have only noddled with it so far, but it feels and sounds great.

Hey everyone, i haven't been on this thread in FOREVER, and didn't know it was still going until a TBer PMed me about it. My apologies for the lack of upkeep on numbers...I am sure that Im dozens behind. I'm going to pass off the numbering baton to Zomb13.
Anyway, keep rocking your ATKs, and Ill be sure to check here more often.

Thanks all
-Justin
