  1. I know theres an Ibanez club, but the ATK is a special bass. I think its safe to say we can have a club now just for the ATK. Its a great bass, and is now becoming more popular :) Heck even the people who dont particularly like Ibanez throw a nice bone to the ATK. Even if we are numbered in few, I think it deserves its own club :)

Post a pic of your ATK(s) and you are in!

  3. Thats an awesome pickguard, where did you get it??

sadly I cant join this club yet...I'm hoping my next bass will be an ATK though

  4. thanks for the compliment, actually I kind of made it. it was a clear pickguard, and I took some paper, colored (yes oldschool by hand) checkerboards on it, then cut it out using th pickguard as a template and slid it under. I had a few other designs but this one has stuck for the past 2 months

But I wanted #2. :: Goes and pouts in corner ::

But on a serious note, I have a question. If you play on the low e string like the first 3 frets, do you get a little buzz. It might just be the action i might have to adjust.

  14. My ATK700...love it!

Yeah baby, now we are talking.

I am down to 2 ATK's from 4. I have an original MIJ ATK500 with a Koa top and maple board and see through PG. I also have a MIK ATK305 with Maple board.

I used to have another MIK ATK305 with Rosewood board and an ATK100 (passive) with a Rosewood board. I regret selling the ATK100. It was a sweet player.

I like the new ones a lot. They feel less substantial yet better constructed. The necks felt different too-- a little more clubby which I like. I would definitely add a new model to my collection.

  19. Lucky #10!

My ATK journey started about 7 years ago when I decided I wanted a 5-string to move on from my Washburn status 4-string. I knew ATK's sounded good, but had never played one, but I got a screaming good deal on a 90's ATK 305 (transparent amber) on a local auction site and pulled the trigger.

I haven't looked back, and have since also grabbed another 90's model (this time a 300) and defretted it.

I only have pics of the 300, but I'm in!

    attachment.

    Nice ATK's guys, BTW!
