I thought so!

I played my own honeyburst Stignray 5HH through my 1001RBII and Big Baby 2 and thought THAT combination sounded huge. I can only imagine how much huge-r it would sound through a Big Twin instead.

I've owned One10, SM, and BB2 cabs. In my opinion, the BB2 feels a bit big and bulky if you're accustomed to a One10 or SM; and even in that situation the BB2 still feels surprisingly light. If comparing a BB2 to other manufacturers' cabs of equivalent output and tone the big and bulky description doesn't apply, again IMO.

EDIT: I should add that I started with a One10 and progressed to the SM & BB2. The 12" cabs sound really great but I wound up going back to the One10 (x 2) because I love its inherent tone.

@anton72 sounds awesome.

Spector basses have some punch and are lovely.
I have 2 G&L ASATs, 1 G&L L1500 and just got a Sandberg MarloweDK.
Current amp Darkglass M900, previous Hartke LH1000 with various pedals. I play mainly rock, but like all sorts, and am just a happy plodder. My friend is a proper bassist and does the slightly more refined stuff from pop, to blues, country etc.
I am very happy with my Super twin, he has One 10's a BB" and a supertwin and his and mine fave cab is the supertwin for its clarity and definition as well as it being very loud

Since you owned both SM and One10 so you can make it clear, as a single cab I presume the SM gives you more bottom?

I use a BB2 with a Mesa D800. I have to walk about 1/4 mile to my big band gig from where i can park. I have bass in a fig bag on my back and a sports bag with cables, amp, music stand etc in one hand and the BB2 in the other. Its do able. I also have a greenboy crazy 8 for small jazz gigs, it is much easier to carry, but the BB2 isn't too bad a carry. I too like a one cab solution for carrying reasons. Mesa with BB2 works well, tone controls mostly centred, voicing at about 10 o'clock. Have to reduce bass a bit in some venues, but its good to have that low end there in other venues. BF Oneten didn't appeal to me because of no tweeter. Ive owned a gen 2 midget t, compact and a gen2 big baby t, haven't tried the super midget, i'm sure its very good.

I currently use a Hand Box R-400. Before that (while owning Barefaced cabs) I owned a Demeter VTBP-M-800D, Ampeg PF-50T, Aguilar TH350, (Powersoft) Puma 1000 and Tech21 VT Bass 500.

In my experience, an SM will give you more bottom than a single One10, but not two One10s. A BB2 gives you more bottom than either.

The BB2 is bulkier and heavier but not SO much more. For me, the extra weight is worth it for the extra deepness (depth?) and the BB2/SM combo just slays. I suspect 2 SM's is great too and the schlep silly easy.

That's fair point. Don't forget I'm spoiled with 15 lbs One10 :D I just read some review a while ago where the guy described difference between moving around SC, SM and BB2 where he stated that SM and SC are super easy to handle but the BB2 being in practice just a bit bigger physically seems to be much bigger feeling when you move it around.
