Guys, which BF cab do you think will be the best tonal match to Aguilar TH500? I still can't part with this amp because of its unique voicing and searching for the best cab to pair it with. Thanks!
I sometimes use 1, but mostly 2 Super Compacts with my TH500.
I get everything I want for my sound from these cabs.
I'm also using a One10 with a TH500 as a practice amp at home.

And how do you find difference with TH500 in pairing with these two cabs sonically?

Between the One10 and the SC's?
I use them in different situations and at totally different volume levels. I have never gigged with the One10 so I'm not sure my comparisons would be relevant. In my front room the SC sounds bigger and fuller than the One10. It would because it's a 12 in a much larger cab. I was going to get a second One10 and gig it but I've decided to stick with the SC's. Bigger cabs, bigger sound.

Although I am very impressed with the volume per size ratio of my 2xOne10 stack I'm still thinking of one cab solution. Would it be SM or BB2 I don't know. In many reviews people say that BB2 feels sort of bulky compared to SM and SC and I still want to keep it portable.
I'm in the same situation at Anton, I have 2 One10's and love 'em, but I am curious about the 12" drivers and their depth. And like Anton, I am vexed between an SC or a BBII. Oh, Barefaced, why do you torture me so!
I just got my BB2 recently and haven't carried it around very much yet (band is basically over at this point, bad timing
), but I did notice some things about carrying it so far. For a 1x12, it is a bigger cabinet so it can feel bulkier than some other 1x12's. For example, I do notice the size difference compared to my Dr. Bass 1x12's, which I thought were pretty large for 1x12's prior to getting my BB2. And, because the Dr. Bass's are normally oriented horizontally, carrying them by the side handle means you carry them so that the longest dimension is their height. The longest dimension when carrying the BB2 is it's front-to-back length, which can make it a little more difficult in a tight space like a stairwell.However, the BB2 is so freakishly light compared to the vast majority of 1x12 cabinets (including my Dr. Bass's which are only about 34 pounds each) and I've found that more or less offsets the bigger bulk most of the time. And, when you compare the a BB2's bulk vs. output volume ratio to the average 2x12 and 4x10, the bulk then seems even smaller - and makes it an even more attractive choice of cabinet. I still find it to be a pretty easy one-hand carry.
Having said that, I would be curious to see how different a carry it would be with the handle on the top (and I also realize that a top handle might force a change in the handle style and/or in the size of the rubber feet to accommodate a top handle). But that's not a knock on the BB2. I love this cabinet.

It may be bulky in comparison but it is an easy schlep. Everyone that picks up one of my BB2's is astonished. The handle is properly located and does not hold the cabinet out from your body. I have a bad back and don't mind parking once and carrying them rather than parking close to the load in door and then moving my car after unloading them, which says something.
My Super Twin arrived today, now the long wait til rehearsal on Tuesday before I can turn it up a bit.

Hi Alex. Thanks for replying. I had sent you an email asking a few questions, this being one of them. While ultimately it comes down to whether or not the cabinet works in a given situation I would really like to have a horizontal vs. vertical ratio to reference. It comes down to always wondering instead of knowing. I happen to like specs and then extrapolate from there. You have replied to the couple of emails I have sent you which is why I bought a second cabinet from you, I don't care to do business with companies that publish contact info then don't reply to inquiries. I will find my email and resend it to you with the questions I initially had plus what new ones were raised by your reply. I'll gladly ask you in this forum so that others might benefit from your answers if you like. Finally,yes, you had replied that what I was asking really did not matter much but I still sit and wonder about these type of things.
The BB2 and SC sound very different from the Two10. I used to have a couple of BB2, and now I have a single Two10 (with another one to be added in the future). I find the Two10 much more to my liking than the BB2, which is not a bad cab at all, but while I merely liked the BB2 and enjoyed the power and portability, with the Two10 I enjoy the sound a lot more (purely personal preference). If you really like the sound of your 2x One10, I'd just get a Two10. The Two10 is also easier to handle and carry than the BB2. The shape makes it feel less bulky.
I prefer the Two10 by a long way. But that's just me. It doesn't feel like a compromise in any way.

Guys, thank you for your input. I found the key to the One10 tone is just a different amp lol. I was struggling to fall in love with my TH500 but in the end I realized it is not my tone. I just took my backup GK MB200 out of the bag and plugged in in my One10 stack, and wow! these two sound awesome together: tighter lows and faster response compared to TH tone. So I end up with keeping my One10 stack and selling TH500. I may try some more powerful GK amps with it later or Mesa D-800, or Genzler Magellan...

BTW, not directly Barefaced related but still may be an idea... I've been at NAMM'17 show and tried new Aguilar AG700 amp. Liked it a lot, it is their opposite TH500 approach, clean and punchy, lots of power. It will hit the shelves in April but the price tag is quite expensive at $849.
