How come I've heard about 'porridge' my whole life, but I don't have a clue what the heck it actually is?And, I'll add, I take exception to the thermodynamics of the tale as regards porridge.
Consider that each bowl of porridge dissipates heat, the rate of which is based on the temperature, volume and exposed surface area of porridge and bowl.
Considering the economic conditions and technological status of these bears, it is doubtful that they have a microwave, or multiple separate cooking apparati. Rather, the porridge was in all likelihood drawn from the same pot at the same time; hence all started with equal temperatures.
Let's begin with the supposition that, in accordance with common belief, the Papa Bear bowl is biggest, the Mama Bear bowl is next biggest, and the Baby Bear bowl is smallest. If the Papa Bear porridge is too hot, that could make sense; it is dissipating heat at a lower rate due to its volume; the center of that porridge is farther from its surface, which is where the heat is being transferred. But it makes no sense that the smallest portion, Baby Bear's, which has more of its volume as surface area, and would therefore revert to room temperature the quickest, would be "just right" and warmer than the Mama Bear bowl (which was tested and pronounced "too cold"). In theory, the temperature of the bowls of porridge after partial heat dissipation, ranked in order from highest to lowest, should be Papa, Mama, Baby. Therefore, Baby Bear's porridge would be coldest, while Mama's would therefore have to be "just right".
So, this little story seems to lack scientific authenticity as told.

I am waiting on my AG700. I paid for it a month ago and was told it would ship this week but am not holding my breath. Can't wait to hear it with my BTII. Whatever you choose I am sure it will rock your BF.So now that I have to replace my amp I have to choose...buy another GK MB Fusion 800 or go for the Aguilar AG700? Thoughts?

Crap! New GAS ... AG700Talking about amps, I gave another try to Aguilar TH350, and man this sounds awesome with both One10 and SM! I now realized that last time I was disappointed with Aggie TH amps through One10 not because of the amp but because of the bass having sorta muddy sounding pickups, now I tried it with the other two basses and this has tons of growl and definition. I am also thinking of selling my D800 and getting AG700....
