Studioslips in the US has covers up to the Gen 2 models so if someone can get them Gen 3 dimensions, an easy fix for needing a cover stateside.
Well, yesterday I sold off my last cab in order to further fund my Super Twin 
I had two 4x10's and a 1x15. The 4x10's were sold earlier and I sort of forgot I still had an ad somewhere for the 1x15 - I had my mind set on keeping it as a backup cab.
Then all of a sudden last week I got an offer for it! Turned out to be quite a young kid, and he was very excited about this opportunity. I had the cab for close to 10 years (first real bass gear) but always try to take good care of my equipment, so he was very happy to buy it.
And now the wait begins for the Super Twin! I am hoping it will arrive at the start of April, and until that time I will loan my guitarist's bass amp, or take my little 65 watt Peavey combo to rehearsals.
Can't wait!!

After a "soft start" with mine (I was a little disappointed before gaining experience and learn how to place it correctly in the room), I am constantly becoming more and more entusiast about my BB2. Every time I play it I appreciate it a bit more. Maybe it's due to the break in issue for the woofer, or maybe I'm getting accustomed to its unusual capabilities and tonal footprint.
Im hoping that my super twin will be on it's way by the end of the month. I plan to break it in quick with the 25hz sine wave and avoid a "soft start". It's a real lot of dough for a 2x12 cab but, I'll be fine with it if the product lives up to the claims.
did the 25 Hz thing for about 12-14 hours, at a volume that the cone moved quite a bit and lots of air from the port....but the cab just keeps changing when I play it, even if these changes are very suble.
Don't know if there is still some breaking in taking place or the change is in my ears, I was not used to such a revealing tone before, so I may put into the equation some sort of learning
Oh man, i'm THAT guy! I normally would ageee with you but, ive been using a ported 12125 with 3012lf woofers where i turn the mid off and crank 3khz. It really works for me. This tells me that i should be thrilled with the super twin. Ive also moved my nv610 to the basement and set my svt on it. I just refused to gig with it during this horrible winter.
Where do I find the 25hz sine wave? My Dubster could use a good dose of that. Living in an apartment, all of my practice is through headphones. But with that audio wave I could rent a rehearsal room for a day.
I've got an app on my phone called PA Tone that puts out a nice 25Hz sine wave. Adapter plug on the cable and straight into the amp's input.
I think it is short for Pro Audio Tone. I searched for tone generator and installed a few free ones and deleted the ones I didn't like.
SINE WAVE
lots of free sine wave generators on the internet, just goggle it and have your sine wave generated in a few seconds, in .mp3 or other compression and encoding formats of your choice.
Then simply play it repeatedly using an mp3 player, or a PC, a tablet, connected to the input of your bass amp (mine has a "line" input along with one dedicated to the bass)
SIMPLE
It's much less simple to understand how much watts you want to put into the cab using that 25 hz sine, because the tone is so low that our hearing isn't so sensible at that frequency. Just use common sense and do not smash your new speaker searching for its excursion limits with a powerful amp.
I think this is the reason because mr. Claber does not suggest using this method anymore. The alternative is to just play the damn thing at high volumes, it will take more time, but it's equally effective

Although the BB2 we have for an extensive bass cab group test was already "broken-in", IMHO I am pretty sure that the cab is going to be with you for a loooong time (trust me) thus there's no rush (unless you are deciding on it or you going to record with it) for breaking in.

the 69er is very interesting to me, I like low-fi, coloured, heavy vintage tone. I like my Berg HS410 except when it comes to weight (85 pounds, almost 39 kg) and I would really appreciate something taller to hear it better as most of the time I've not got a monitor. I don't like though the sound of the non-retro BF cabs, too clean too my ears.
I've seen very few reviews here and on other boards, but a concerning number of people that have sold it after a bit. IS there any opinion among the BF fans here ?

I've got a 69er. Sounds just like an 8x10 but is lighter than a light thing. I have no intention of selling mine, ever.
