Agree. And I have both MB200 and TH350 and use them with my One10, both sound really good, of course TH350 has some more juice due to higher wattage.

This is interesting observation and I've heard from many people that they prefer the tone of MB200 over MB500 and MB800...
I have an MB200, MB500 (two, actually, though I'm planning to sell them both), and an MB800 and I'm not sure I've really noticed much of a difference between them. On paper, I might suspect the MB800 could sound different because it has a different preamp (forgot the technical details, but I remember seeing that on the G-K web site). But, then again, that amp puts out so much power I have to keep both the gain and the master levels pretty low so maybe it's just hard to hear those subtleties when playing that head through my One10?
But I can think of a possible reason why the MB200 might sound different. Its power output is lower than the others and perhaps better matched (?) to the One 10 and it also has no master knob, only a gain knob. So as you turn it up you're getting more of that G-K growl in the sound, for better or worse (for me, that's a "better", I love my G-K heads/amps!). And since the xxx10 cabinets are designed to give a nice, colored bass guitar sound, that growl into that cabinet could possibly make the MB200/One10 an especially nice sounding pairing. Maybe? I'm sure someone who knows more of the technical side of things could either confirm or refute that. But it was just a thought.
Regardless, all of my G-K heads sound great through the One10. For that matter, so does my Mesa D-800.

Hey, that was a point you made in your "Brunette vs. Redhead" Facebook video that I just watched - you had to balance ~10 key parameters when designing a cabinet and the trick is balancing the changes that occur in all the other parameters any time you change one of the parameters.
See, someone actually was paying attention.

I'm a fan of the Tonehammer and it works well with my One 10 and my Berg CN112 and NV115 cabs. When I bought it I tried a GK MB500 and the TH into a NV115 and much preferred the TH. But I was using a super modern & bright sounding G&L that was nothing like my two basses so it was probably not a great comparison.
But overall the TH is versatile after you understand the controls. The Drive does not work like most people would think, although it does interact with the Gain it is mainly a variable HPF and LPF in one.
I am still gobsmacked by the wonderful tone I got from my Ampeg V4B into the Four 10. I wasn't playing quietly, engaged the bass boost (which I never use normally) and it was like they say of the twelves - as if I was listening to a PA with big subs out the front, yet still well defined. This was the best I have ever heard the V4b sound, and that is really saying something.
I went for the ST because its smaller, lighter and cheaper than the BTII, and I can`t ever imagine a scenario where I would require a cab to be able to handle more that 1200 watts. The ST sounds amazing with my D800 as well.

The decision between Big Twin 2, Super Twin & Four10/Six10 should be a tonal one - contact us (by email, not on here), I'll ask you some questions and we'll work out the best choice. Max output is similar, Six10 usually the loudest by a bit, Four10 the quietest* by a bit, but that will vary with tone.

I recently cleaned house and sold off all my various cabs (all between 40-60lbs) in order to downsize my rig and not have "extra" cabs around for certain gigs, others for home practice, etc. I wanted a couple cabs that were easy to carry and use just them for everything.
After speaking some fellow TB'ers (Thanks BigEarl), and contacting Alex, he recommended the Super Compact 12" to go along with my new Quilter BB800. I placed my order for a PAIR of Super Compacts yesterday. After all, if one is good, then two should be twice as good, right?

Hopefully I will have a chance to tryout and SC real soon. Steelbed45 has one and he's about 45 minutes away from me. Super midget arrived today! Still blows my mind that 24.5 hours after FedEx picked up the cab, it shows up on my door. So now I've got this and a BTII. Guess I need to start saving for a 10 of some sort!
My SIX10 should have arrived on Tuesday afternoon. Today is Thursday, still no package. FedEx are useless. First of all, they let the cab sit in Denmark from Friday morning until Sunday morning, just so it wouldn't arrive early. They spent five minutes Monday morning doing the customs paperwork, and then they let it sit there until Wednesday before having someone pick it up to ship it across country. It arrived at the terminal here this morning, so it should be here before 9 pm, but I'm not holding my breath. Don't they understand I want to unpack the thing?
Looks a bit congested on top of the SM. You might try turning the amp 90 degrees, which will allow the P15 to sit solidly atop the cab and resist getting bumped off. For some reason TBers take it as one of the Ten Commandments that gear must be oriented to the front. As long as you can easily twist the knobs, doesn't matter what the audience sees! Safety first.
Haven't been able to do much more than about 5 mins yesterday. I've got a big band jazz gig tonight so I'll know more then. First impression was that it sounded great and had an unreal amount of volume for such a little box. I think I could probably cover most of my gigs with it alone. Kinda want to stack it on the BTII just for laughs and doom.
