I stand corrected. Looks like it is now a standard option on the cabs with 10s, but still a custom order on the other cabs with 12s. I know when I was ordering mine I asked about the black cloth grill as I had just seen a pic of Tim Commerford's rig. He sent me a link to other cloth options, but I've only seen pics of cabs out there with silver, black and tweed.
It has been a good match with the BTII. Super reliable... which had been a problem for me with other class D heads. Sounds awesome! Just got a Quilter and have thought... The Noble is awesome, but is it 4Xs as awesome as the Quilter considering the price? I dunno... It's nice to have options. I like the Noble better with the BTII and the Quilter better with the Two10. Just different flavors of awesome.
I'll report more tomorrow, but I'll say I'm pretty stoked on the BB2 & Behringer PA I've assembled.
Undoubtedly. Would be fun to hear what 4 would sound like. I can't even imagine.Four of them going simultaneously in such a small area could be frightening. We could probably trigger seismographs in California.
I love my FR800s (BB2 with a built in 600W amp), they're great cabs and I'm sure you'll love your new PA.

Was hoping I'd have my Two10 in time for a gig tomorrow night, but it looks like I will have to settle with using my Four10... awww shucks.
Hey correct me if im wrong.... since im shopping a new amp, and for some reason already have another Two10 on my mind. since my Two10 that is being built right now is going to be switchable. if I had 2 switchable Two10's running at 12 ohms that would be a 6 ohm load correct? and another part to that, if my non existant amp is rated at 500W at 4ohms assume I will be getting less than 500w at 6ohms. maybe like 300-350 or so?

Ran some iTunes library choices through here. The new one (on the right) seems a hair "louder" but I think it has to do with room positioning and crossover settings. Once broken in, and at gigging volume it'll be quite balanced. It's definitely a change from the home hifi speakers. There is plenty of low end and punch. The Behringer has a 100 Hz crossover/HPF, and it's kinda nice for not pumping deep lows later in the evening. The neighbors like that

Next, I've gotta rack the Behringer, and make some tough decisions about flipping amps. For as much as I play, this much gear is ridiculous. Nice, but ridiculous. I was considering going to just a DG AO Ultra pedal. However the Behringer fan is a little loud to run for home playing and practice. It's not awful, and it blows tons of air.

If you daisy-chain a pair of 12 ohm Two10's you will essentially have the Barefaced 8 ohm Four10, divided into two cabinets.
That math may seem "wrong" (shouldn't it be 6 ohms? you might ask) but that's only because the numbers we toss around are what's called "nominal impedance." Hypothetically, if their 10" driver were precisely 8 ohms then the impedance switch would flip between 4 and 16 ohms, not 4 and 12.

Both 12 ohm Two10's together will be 6 ohms. That will be about 2/3rd of a 4 ohm rig.
In reality you're not going to be loosing much SPL because the BF cabs have good sensitivity so will sound louder with your watts.
They will be clearer and with better dispersion should be easier for you and everyone else to hear.
If you run your 4 ohm rig with a 500 watt amp and your master is on 11 (for instance) you'll just have to add a little more on the master to bring your BF cabs up to the same volume.
So really there are no downsides to the BF implementation of 12 ohm and 6 ohm rigs.
The Two10 (just ordered one on 2/28) has gone from $799 USD to about $863 USD, so that's not terrible. About 8% increase on that model. The silver cloth grill option and 4/12 switchable option did not increase, so my cab with both options would now be $988; paid $924. So, not that big a difference.
Still, I'll bet BF had a near-record month in February, nudging everyone off the fence as they did.
BF still well worth the price but glad to save $64 anyway.
I've never paid much attention to the prices of the 12" cabs, but the 10s didn't go up as much as I thought they would (though I don't know what the Eight10 was before, but I'm sure that monster isn't cheap to ship).
I grabbed a Super Compact in January (my first and only cab) at $799, now starts at $867. I think the cloth upgrade increased a bit too.
Not as bad as I was expecting. Still an incredible deal for such a high end boutique cab.
