My BB2 is scheduled to be delivered to my house in LA by 10:30am today! But according to FedEx tracking, this morning at 2am it was in Memphis, about 1800 miles away. Hmm.
Yeah, my last BTII was scheduled to show up at 10:30a, it showed up 3 weeks later...FedEx is special.

Thanks! Yeah it's not tiny like the Super Midget but only weighs a couple of pounds more, and it's only like 14" deep so that really helps on stage and makes it an easy carry. And of course it sounds great. I don't go through the PA so I need my cabs to do all the work. I also have Mesa Subways and Audiokinesis cabs, so I feel kinda blessed to have such fine cabs to choose from
I just got a Super Compact last week and I'm running it with the BB800 and totally loving it... the icing on the cake for a really punchy warm but defined oldshool tone was sticking a battered old Zoom B2.1u pedal in front of the Quilter and selecting the preset patch for Motown... with my P bass that tone is just to die for... couldn't be happierSuper Compact arrived today, gigging tonight! Mesa DI pedal into Quilter amp is bliss

SM certainly isn't, but I assume you mean SC here since the poster was discussing that in the text you quoted?
Yeah, "big" is relative now. I don't have an SC but have a SM and a BB2. The BB2 is actually a pretty "big" cab... which for a one-cab solution would have been considered quite small be me anytime before getting into BF cabs a couple years ago. And it's still small. Just not sitting next to the SM! The SC is somewhere between the SM and BB2, it would seem. I wouldn't call that big, either.
Barefaced cabs just kill. Gigged a Two10 Friday night w/ a GK MB Fusion 800, FDeck HPF set about 50-60Hz, and an occasional octaver for some fullness on solos, w/o PA support (medium-sized pub type situation). Really filled the room nicely, plenty of lows, well-focused. I have too many good cabs but can't part with any of them. Kinda feel like the villain in movies where he's getting ready to surgically remove somebody's body part, and unrolls a long, long case of knives and scalpels to choose the exact best tool for the job.
Well, it made its way to the LA FedEx facility, delivery is scheduled for Monday before 10:30am.
Still not sure why it flew into Memphis.
Yes I meant The SC. Whoops. Still not big. Maybe more fair IMO to describe the SM and 1-10 as exceedingly small.
But it's almost 2000 miles from here. And my Four10 (a while ago) arrived in one day, so it must have landed somewhere closer.
Possible, but Memphis is the international hub. If it came from the UK, I'd guess it went to Memphis first and then got put on a plane to Cali.
Your first cab probably didn't miss its outbound flight, this one probably did, and I'm pretty sure FedEx doesn't really care that we're all dying to get our stuff...

Pic from last nights gig. I used both SC's with a D800 and Broughton P-15 DI to the FOH.

Happily trending in my own peculiar direction.
Killer rig. I notice you're using the through out into the D800. I plug the affected out from my P-15 into the front of a D800+ with a SuperTwin. It's Very Nice.
