Official Barefaced Bass Cab Club

Wow, I just got an email that my BB2 is scheduled for delivery tomorrow! That would be less than 2 weeks since I switched my order from Two10 to BB2, I guess I got lucky! Fingers crossed for safe delivery...

Lucky you! Enjoy!

I thought about bringing the BB2 out tomorrow night but will instead use the new Two10 for a third consecutive gig. They are both great cabs. I am looking forward to getting better acquainted with the Two10 as its own thing and also in conjunction with various amps/gear. I already know what the BB2 can do and it's great. You'll dig it, I'm sure.

I have my first rehearsal in a couple of days with a hard rock band I just joined. I auditioned using my Big Twin II which of course did the job effortlessly. I'd like to take the smaller cab to rehearsal. Will a BB2 be able to do a good job with a relatively loud band doing AC/DC, Aerosmith, etc.?

I think so, it's pretty amazing what it'll do on its own. Obviously won't do fully what a BT II can, based on the laws of physics. I don't have one, but I don't think I'd bring a BT II to rehearsal when I could bring the BB2. You may find the BB2 is more than enough for a lot of pretty loud gigs. But you've got the BT II if and when its not enough (I have no way to know just how loud we're talking, naturally). I'll be interested to hear your thoughts once it arrives, especially since you have the BT II to compare it to, which I don't. Is it enough for your gigs?

So I have a dilemma...but it is a good dilemma to have. My current cab collection consists of 2 x Two 10 cabs, and 1 x One 10 cab. I have used all potential configs in either a gigging or practice situation (110, 210, 310 and 410...but not 510) and I think that my favorite config is the 310 or 210 solution. For my personal situation, 410 will rarely be used and seems like overkill.

Therefore I "MIGHT" have a Two 10 available soon....emphasis on "MIGHT" because I am not 100% sure what I want to do. However, I am also interested in trying one of the Barefaced 12" solutions. So a trade for something with a 12" speaker would be my first choice. If anyone is looking to try a Two 10 and may want to propose a deal, please PM me.

Depends on my mood, lol. Right now, I've got two TC Electronics SpectraDrive preamps running into each side of a QSC GX7 power amp. Sometimes I'll run two SansAmp BDDI V2s or two Quilter BB800s. I'm getting an itch to get a second Arkham Sound Zephyr, but that'd mean a bigger rack, but it would sound awesome!

I'm sure it's not the amp that's the weak link, although it's been making some strange noises that I wasn't responsible for. I dunno...

If you're not dead set on a Gen 3, I have a Gen 2 Compact with padded Studioslips case I may be interested in trading for a Two10 (plus cash on my end).

Hey guys, looking to join the barefaced family here. Any one know of a super compact or BB2 for sale ???

Their turn around time has been decent despite all the orders they've filled in the last few months.

The cabs are seen more frequently in the classifieds lately due to the rising popularity but they hold their value fairly well and people don't like to get rid of them much.
If you can wait four to six weeks you can have a brand new one for virtually the same price.
