Not compared a BB2 with a SC but I did have two BB2's and if your putting them together you only need the one horn.

So if your after a 2nd cab why pay for a horn you wont use?

For the last year I've been using an SC and SM together. I now have a BB2 on order and when it comes I was planning to use it with the SM, and have both horns in the mix. Where's the down side in that?

No downside at all, it's all down to personal preference but two BB2 horns next to each other was to much for me.

Thinking about it, having two different cabs both with a tweeter will cover you for all occasions, i.e. if you need or wish to use either cab on its own.

What's the typical turnaround time from order to shipping? I recently ordered two One 10 cabs. At the time of order, the BF website estimated a 2 to 3 week shipping time. I just passed 4 weeks without a shipping notification. I'm not particularly concerned, just curious. Thx

Don't worry. After the Black Friday sale BF got over 2 months worth of orders in one week. That's put their whole manufacturing and delivery schedule back. Alex sent out an email saying that, depending on the model, instead of 3 weeks they'd be looking at the end of January as a timescale. I've got a BB2 in the works and I'll be happy with a date this side of the end of Feb.

Most of my gigs the last few months have been amp-less with in-ear monitors, but on Monday afternoon's gig I got to use my "small" bass rig. Man it sounds so huge, great in the outdoors too where there are no boomy walls to contend with.

If you need to choose between two 10s or BB2, which one do you think would cut in the mix better? And which one would be better for awful-acoustic venues?

Any of you have paired both cabs?

I have two 10s and a BB2 but have yet to play the BB2 in a band setting so can't really offer too much. I suspect the tens will remain my main gigging cabs simply because I like their voicing and it suits the blues rock stuff I play most of the time. My gut tells me that in an awful-acoustic venue the BB2 might be preferable as it is voiced to be neutral and may well be easier to eq. Sorry, that is all I can offer at the moment. Both fantastic cabs at what they do.

Has anyone compared using a BB2 with a Mesa 800+ to using one with a Bergantino Forte HP? I like the eq capabilities of the Mesa as they make the BB2 exceptionally versatile tonally, but am curious as to whether the 600 watts into 8 ohms of the Berg would be a noticeable/positive difference compared to the 400 watts of the Mesa into the same load. Not contemplating getting another BB2 at this point as I use the tens for bigger gigs, but still would like to get the best out of the single cab.

I owned a d800 and have the hp currently.

I own 2 four 10's and some revsound cabs A 210 and 215.

Yes. There is a big difference imo. More heft. Quieter. Notes start and stop immediately.

I've been waiting on my order of two One 10's for 8 weeks. A recent post on the barefaced owners group Facebook page suggests that they are working on and shipping some One 10s now, so hopefully I'll get a shipping notice soon. I know I'm not really answering your question but that's all I got.
