When I had my Two10 I ran it in 4 ohm mode, with the 8 ohm One10 on a coupe of gigs. That 310 sounded pretty good. Something to think about for the future.
Was there a big difference between a single Two10S and the Two10S with a One10? I assume you used the same amp but did you get much more volume or low end extension?
Hi, IMO there wasn't much difference between the Two10 and 310. It felt like it could go louder and there were more mids and low end, but it wasn't a night and day difference. It really sounded like the Two10 but "more", which I guess is what you'd expect. On those gigs I didn't need more volume, so I didn't push the levels. I usually prefer as many cabs in a rig as I can get (I just think moving more air gives a better sound). It was more of a "what if" experiment than a detailed review. At the time I also had 2 Two 10's which I used a coupe of times. The 10's were very good, but with my Aguilar TH500 and AG700, I ended up preferring the 12's and went back to my 2 SC's.
I play 5 string basses so was mindful of Alex's warning about sound levels vs "clean" sound levels in the Two10's and One10's. As I already had the cabs I thought I'd see if the 310 worked. It did, but I sold the Two10's not long after.
Another user of D800+ and One10 here. I've done gigs with acoustic players who were plugged into a PA, as well as rehearsals in a small room with a drummer and electric guitarist. We're all "seasoned" so we play with dynamics and try not to deafen ourselves. The One10 is hilariously powerful for it's size.
I have two One10s and the difference between one and two of them is quite noticeable through my 500w MarkBass. I've been tempted to add to them but it would mean a new head.
I got a SC and a SM second hand just before the latest lockdown and have yet to fire them up together, I'm looking forward to comparing them with the One10s in a rehearsal studio soon.
I use 1 or 2 One10's for playing at home. They sit in the corner and even at low volume sound great.
My go-to rig for a year before the #1 lockdown was an SC and SM, and for 3 years before that 2 SC's. It was a tough call selling the 10's, but they weren't the first cabs I reached for when loading the car, so, as I had 7 cabs at the time, they had to go.
I reckon your SC/SM will sound fantastic.
I really like this Super Midget vs One 10 demo and sound comparison, especially because the Midget was done with tweeter on and off. I knew the One 10 has that vintage niche covered but was impressed how good the Midget sounded with that P-bass. I like the voicing of that 12" driver in the smaller Midget enclosure. The lows are a bit more focused and the mids are present and even; not boxy sounding. I can see how some players dig the One 10/Super Midget stack. They seem to work quite well together as long as the slightly lower power handling of the One Ten is kept in mind. This wouldn't seem to be much of a limitation though because the wide range of 800 watt heads available should be able to be driven to full power into this little stack and provide plenty of headroom - pretty impressive. The heads used do provide some nice coloration so I'd like to see Alex add this pair to his more controlled test rig which puts an uncolored signal to the drivers.
One other thing I'd like to know @alexclaber - if the 12" is a true 8 ohm driver while the 8 ohm "nominal" 10" driver is really closer to 6 ohms, what is the power distribution between these two when connected in parallel to an amp?
Also, the website specs for max output seem to overstate the 12" Midget at 127 dB and understate the One10 at 119 dB with the figures given. If the 12XN broadband sensitivity is 97 dB 1w/m and 600 watts provides 27.7 dB gain (600=2^9.23), then 97.0 + 27.7 = 124.7 dB max output (which is a match for the best 15" full range drivers).
Likewise, if the 10CR broadband sensitivity is 95 dB 1w/m and 500 watts provides 26.9 dB gain (500=2^8.97), then 95.0 + 26.9 = 121.9 dB max output. If the 10CR max power is only 250 watts then the 119 dB rating is correct. The Four 10 max power is given as 1000 watts or 250 per driver which makes sense. It matters to properly understand the limits (in addition to using your ears) to avoid accidentally smoking a driver. A safer combination to run for this voicing at higher volumes might be a Two 10 set to 12 ohms with the Super Midget. Am I missing something?

I had two BB2 and got a Two10. Then bought a second and sold the BB2!

I've owned both, and have a pair of BBII's now. The Two10 is a great sounding cab, so I can understand the separation anxiety. The BBII is no slouch, and it'll be bigger in the deep lows and brighter if you want the compression driver. Have you had a chance to crank it up with the band yet?
Not yet. I found myself really wanting to hear the sound of my bass above 6khz. I know I can always go back to those 10's because I absolutely loved them but wanted to see what else their 12xn cabs offered. Separation anxiety perfectly describes it.

I had two BB2 and got a Two10. Then bought a second and sold the BB2!
I absolutely love my BB2's but every time I play through my One10 it just sounds sooooooo good! I can't imagine actually replacing my Big Baby's, but I do sometimes wonder what a vertical pair of Two10's would sound like behind me.
For my home use, the DSM OCSD pedal pairs nicely with a DI signal into the BB2. I'd imagine you could get what you want with the right EQ but it'll take some time. It'll sound different cranked up too, so be patient. You got this.
I have an Orange Terror Bass 500 (2019). Thinking of going toward a quilter though.
