The BB3 arrived about 10 after 12. Looks great, plugged it in and it works. Six hours later I did a pick up gig with it and am very pleased so far. I have gigs every weekend so I'll get to try it in various venues with my regular band. At some point I hope to do a head to head comparison between the two cabs on a gig.
My Fearless cab kills as well but I think I can hear the BF cab better when I'm right in front of it despite it's being at calf level.
In the end I will likely sell one of my two F112s and keep one BF and one GB cab. Maybe place the GB on top of the BF in its tilt back position and see how devastating that will be. Of course for most gigs I won't need more than one of either cab.
The weight factors in as well as the BB3 is about 10 lbs lighter than the F112. My rapidly aging frame likes that a lot! Very easy load in and out, and the cover is very nice as well.
First outing with tha BB3 gets two thumbs up.

Spent an hour last night practicing through the BB3. No band experience with it until the 25th. It sounds big/deep and clear-reproducing exactly what I put into it. The new dimensions and handle are a significant improvement-it's now an easy, less awkward 1 hand carry 
The wider/taller look also makes it apparent that this single 12 is in a box that looks like it could accommodate 2 average 10" cones or a 15 incher, which is consistent with the fact that it can move as much air/get as loud as a good quality 115 or 210. It's a superb 1 cab solution for me. I loved my Mesa SW 115, but that was much bulkier and significantly heavier.

That is exactly what I was thinking about!
I have only one F112, and most of the gigs it is not enough for me. I don't usually have very high volume, but yes wide dynamics.
Please, tell us your impressions about BB3 and F112 combo
Congrats, guys! There were no real surprises (we knew they'd sound spectacular), but thanks for the reports.
And, for the record, I *did* make myself a nice Belvedere and tonic last night to toast your new cabs. I got home pretty late (was caring for my elderly parents) so I only had one before going to bed, but I still enjoyed it.

There is a Facebook post a number of pages back. As the owner of the very first BB3 I have been anxiously awaiting for Barefaced to officially announce the new cabs. They have politely requested that we not post pics until their official announcement.
Hopefully that announcement will be forth coming soon.
I still hate the lumpy gloss finish, but the handle is pretty optimal, and now that it's less deep, it carries like an XL briefcase.

Can you offer any comparisons of the sound between the BB3 and BB2?
Sorry I cannot. I never owned a BB2. I owned a Super Compact and have a One10. All I can offer is that from what I have read, the BB2 is pretty much monitor flat, by design, and that is how the BB3 sounds to my ear so far, after very early/limited use.

What are you running it through? I ask because I can count on one hand the number of times I've even had to push the F112. I'm running a GK MBF800 or an Arkham Beast of Both Worlds, so 560 or 660W into 8 ohms.

Yes this was a direct switch based purely on ease of transport. I am 58 and in excellent shape, had no problem carrying the SW115, but the allure of an even easier carry (1 hand) and less boxy profile hooked me. The 115 is a cab that adds its' own colour....a colour I love....so far (home practice) I can simply add that colour to the BB3 through my amp's front end (WD800 or Quilter BB802) with a little HPF/ mild compression and low mid boost, with the BB3 tweeter turned to about 75%. I'll take the BB3 out to jam with the band next Monday to hear it pushed just a li'l bit.
After wondering what cab I should get for a while, I ordered a Big Baby yesterday. I'm very excited. Hopefully, it doesn't take too long. The website says it takes between 4 and 10 weeks at the moment.
