Hard to imagine what three of those 12s can do! I brought both of my BB2's last Saturday but decided to just use one. I used my D-800+ head and had the gain at 12:00 and the master at 11:00. It sounded deep and full and had no trouble keeping up with a guitar, keys, and a hard hitting drummer all by itself.
Would love an opportunity to play through that kind of rig sometime.

Can you give some feedback on how the 3 12's couple vs just the BT3? Is there a big difference in output and low end impact? I've been considering adding a 3rd 12" to my BT3.Posted this on the FB page as well: ready to rumble!

The BB3 came last week and the mailman just dropped that BT3
Got a big festival coming up on friday, just in time then to burn in those cabs
Besides a little "does this thing work" test I haven't had the chance to test this setup. Where I live I cannot try my gear at gig levels.
On friday I have a quite big festival where I will take only the BT3. I haven't really bought both cabs to be used at once but I can imagine taking them both some time "because I can" and when the stage allows for such a ridiculous setup
Have bought both to be able to adapt to the situation at hand.
Will report back after friday on how that went.

Ieper Hardcore fest tonight (won't be streamed) but we have a headline spot at Alcatraz coming up in August as well as Pukkelpop (these are A-tier festivals over here)

I've got an original 15" Compact, and recently bought an Orange Terror Bass, and noticing something I haven't before - at practice volume, the amp moves around on top. Even with other class D heads, I've not seen that before. Need to stick a non-slip mat or something under it.
Are the newer models finished in a 'grippier' way? I don't have the same issue on, say, an Ampeg fridge because the head's feet sit a lot more securely.

I got a big twin II and love every single note played through it
Easy fix is some tool box non slip pads you can get at lowes, Home Depot or Amazon.

Everything has changed.
Alex introduced the Generation 3 cabs which now use drivers of his own design, which are a step forward in every respect.

Didn't the propriety drivers come in when they switched from 15" drivers? So Gen2?
They went from the Compact which was a stock 15" to the Super Compact which is their own 12". That was the Gen 2 to Gen 3 move.
Can anyone plausibly explain why the Barefaced website still only contains details for previous-generation cabs? And not the BB3/BT3 models — that have been available nearly a year now?
