anyone know how to safely remove the grill from a two10s? is a cloth grill
Yep. You need to remove the corner guards on the bottom, then pull the little tab attached to the grill.
Which one did you order? One of the limitations on cabs regarding how loud they can get is the heat generated by the speakers. Alex & Co have developed an ingenious (and patented) way of managing the heat that allows their proprietary speaker to go louder longer. It's one of the reasons I decided to order one.
Not an owner yet, though. Well, I am, as I've fully paid for the cab, but I have yet to receive it. From Alex, "should finish towards the end of this week/early next."
You need to order from Barefaced directly. All cabinets are build to order. It's better this way because Alex is wonderfully knowledgeable and will ensure you end up with what you need.Where can I buy in the US ?
They're not available (new) any other way, so it's a bit of a moot point - if you want a barefaced cab, that's how to get one.Thank you, I would have to pay customs tax and much higher shipping correct ?
Out of curiosity, what are those knobs you have on your WD? I like them.View attachment 5103551 View attachment 5103554 View attachment 5103556 Officially IN!

Shipping charges are upfront and I paid no customs.Thank you, I would have to pay customs tax and much higher shipping correct ?
I am the proud soon-to-be owner of a BB3.Which one did you order?

I'm waiting for your review before I order.Oh, the plan all along has more or less been to get two BB3s. (Or a Big Twin 3, but that decision was made when I placed the first order for a BB3.) I figure I owe it to myself to give the first BB3 an honest tryout before ordering a second one.
Odds are you'll place the order on break after the first set you play through it.Oh, the plan all along has more or less been to get two BB3s. As Alex says, the BT3 sounds like the BB3, but more. I currently play through a Phil Jones C8 cab, and I've only ever had one experience where my rig wasn't enough for the job, and that was probably in large part due to my choice of amps... so I'm quite confident that one BB3 will handle my volume needs. But I've always wanted a matching set of cabs, and I want Alex's "more".I don't often need the volume I get from both of my BB2's, but I really like the tone I get from both. One is pretty amazing and does the job quite well for most of my gigs. But the fullness you get from a pair is just sooooooo … sooooo …
