Official Barefaced Bass Cab Club

As I have posted before, sm and bb2 is a fantastic pairing. As a single cabinet I more often use the sm than the bb2, and power it with a Bergantino Forte hp which has more than enough power at 600 watts into 8 ohms to make the cab sing. Don't underestimate the capabilities of the sm when powered by sufficient watts.

Thanks a lot for this, yea seems Alex is saying that BB2 and SM is great for paring.
Now, I have BB2 hope that's good for paring too. I have BT2, but haven't used it for 9 months, because if there is a need for loud gig, then I'm with my Capo preamp and IEM.
So I would gladly trade BT2 for SM. I'm gonna send them an email just to see their point of view. But thanks again for the effort!

Quick question: Does a Retro One10 from ~2017 have all the same components and specs as a brand new One10? A used Retro One10 is available locally, but for $100 more I could have a brand new one. Not sure if there's anything between the two. Thanks.
i don’t think there’s any difference, apart from a slight design tweak of the metal grill and the logo badge. the earlier ones had a minor problem with the glue on the tolex coming up in the back, so maybe they fixed that since, but its not a big deal at all. get the local one for instant gratification, or enjoy the satisfaction of having a brand new thing, but expect to wait a couple months.

I got my One10 and One10t about three weeks ago in five weeks, ahead of their estimate on their website, as an FYI.

Are you saying you will trade a SM for a BT? I'm down.

I pair an SM and BB2 for the very loud gigs, an SM and SC for the regular gigs and use the SC as a 1 cab rig for smaller gigs.

I own Aguilar TH500, TH700 and AG700 amps. I will probably use the TH500 for small P bass gigs, but my preference is still the AG700 for everything else.

As signal chains go, Aguilar and Barefaced are the best combination and just work perfectly for me.

I would love to have the matching amp to my cabs, but I would expect the prices to be a little too rich for me.

Several cab manufacturers have tried to make this jump, Baer, Vanderkley etc but only Bergantino seems to have made it work.

I guess the pedal was a toe in the water, but as a non pedal player I have no idea if that was a success or not. I hope Alex can pull it off.

Epifani too.
