Indeed, stumbled across it at a local music shop. thanks to a slow local economy $600 out the door with HSC.
First thought upon seeing the picture.
"It's like, how much more black could this be? and the answer is none. None more black."

KayCee.... That bass is really nice . I am a committed fan of the SB series basses now . These basses are really versatile in that they can take on a real vintage vibe , but , they can look like the most modern basses produced . Great job on the options for that one .
Thanks. I like the sound of maple board/alder body, or I would have gone for the total "vintage look" with a rosewood board.
I love the look. But I'm trying to figure from the photo, is that a birdseye maple board with abalone dots and logo on the headstock?
Yes, the dots and logo are abalone. I ordered standard maple, but the board does have some figure to it.
1993 CARVIN BUNNY BRUNNEL 5 STRING,PRO BASS 200 AMP CAN I GET A NUMBER???
Nice! I've been pretty sold on the idea of buying a Carvin XB75 but the more I see and hear about these SB basses, I find myself thinking I might want to consider an SB5000 instead. I initially found the tulip-like body and new headstock to be a bit of a head-scratcher. But I have to say, both have grown on me. I guess my only issues is that I've been sold on the 35.5" scale and asymmetric neck for sometime now. Neither, of course, are available for a Carvin bolt-on. So now I'm all screwy. What to do? Why did Carvin have to come out with this series!!!
I have a Carvin BB75P, and the RedLine 1000 Series II with 410 and 115 cabs, I hope this qualifies me for an official number.
I added a picture of Bass
Very nice bass. Red must be in season!
Here's my brand new XB75P!
Good looking bass, Red simply goes with everything.
WOULD NEVER SELL IT,I AM GASING FOR A BUNNY 5 STRING WITH 18 VOLT ELECTRONICS.CARVIN SANTA ANA STORE HAS ONE![]()
Yours has a knob more than my BB75,is that for a piezo?
