Here I'm putting a Devon through its paces during the first song at 'The Tsunami Bass Hang' at NAMM2020

Listen with some headphones if you can to really hear that lows.

Devon basses are exceptionally made and play effortlessly. Definitley in my top 2 builders. That video sounded great.

Beautiful instrument, but I'm very sorry to hear about your job!

I found out that my job of the last 8 years is possibly closing and I have to make some sales in preparation for what could happen. This Devon bass is estimated to be finished end of January or start of February. It totaled $4500 plus and I'm willing to do $3500 to recoup some money. I have attached the current pics and build sheet showing it spared nothing. If the buyer buys it soon you can pick the color as it is in route to his finisher. I'm having blue done but that can change. I hate to do this but hopefully I can start another build once my job situation clears up. I attached a picture showing the finish I was planning on getting. Like I said earlier, you can possibly pick your own color if you prefer another.

Welp. Devon made a routing error on my custom 4.(He’s Human). He also used his excellent Customer Service to offer a refund, a whole new build or this lovely piece right here..............

I took the Piece!! Should be here Thursday. I’ll send out a full report. I’d like to thank Devon for being honest and awesome in what could have been a bad situation!!

I have never been one to like the relic model basses as any scratch irritates me to the point of getting rid of it. However, Devon does a really nice job on his basses with the relic finish. Enjoy that beauty.

Without sounding too cliche, it really does the P bass thing really well as well as the “jazz bass on steroids” when panned to the bridge pickup. I’m a big fan of the p bass pickup in the bridge position because you get that J bass nite with more low end response. I’d definitely play this pickup combo.

Update on the bass Devon offered me. I sent it back. Devon found a way to route my bass properly by adding a ramp which I wanted on the bass originally. As my wife said”That’s not the bass you ordered.” She’s absolutely right. Devon made it right as well. Check out some pics of the new baby that’s currently at finishing.

I’ve only found 1 other brand that compares to Devons work and that’s Roscoe. They will hang with any bass brand out there. Enjoy that beauty.

I really like the Delanos. Full range deep lows, well defined mids and shimmering highs without harshness. Very round and full.
