It is actually Lava Pearl color....from 2004....
Amazing color...wish I could get an HS stingray in the same color
My apologies! I get those two confused at times. I would like to get an orange EBMM bass whether it's a Bongo 5 or a Stingray 5.

That PG looks AMAZING on that black. Really adds to the bass!
Out of all of my EBMM basses THIS is most likely the one I will take to the grave with me and never let go of....
It is flat out freakin amazing, not only to look at but to play and listen to as well....perfection!

Normally not a big fan of Gold Hardware on most basses.
But it really works on this one.
This is a EBMM Limited edition Ray from 2008.
They did this finish on all the LE basses that year.
The Bongos really look hot in this finish!! Super hard to find though
The finish is called "Sequoia Gold"......
It is kinda like a Root Beer Sparkle with Gold Burst effect throughout.....The gold is most strong in the middle area of the bass.
Has the same finish on the back and on the headstock also.
Came with the most amazing Faux Tan Lizard Skin fitted LE Factory case!!

I've got the best Stingray ever made according to some

I've also got a 20th SR5.
If some things fall into place I will have a custom musicman in a couple of years (mainly a couple of future sales I plan on throwing out there) My idea is to buy a stealth ray or sterling 5 string. Take all the hardware and pickups and electronics. Sell the body and rest. Have a custom made 35 scale graphite neck made and a one piece mahogany or light swamp ash body to accommodate the extra long scale neck. Put the parts together and put the ernieball decal on it with Cutlass III under the model name.
That or 25th reflex 5 string H S S would be my only venture into owning another one, though I like the custom idea a lot more.

The only thing I'm worried about is the neck width. If its too wide for my hands,I will try to trade it for a Bongo 5. Picking it up this afternoon. It came from Canada so I have to pay about 80.00 in fees. I'll keep you posted.
