Official EBMM club thread! part the 2nd.

Yuppers! That's next on my to-buy list, but it'll be a long while before I pull the trigger. I want to get one with the new tuners and see what's going on with the John Myung prototype that's out there, too.

I've got a few that I want to snag as well. Seeing that I am finishing my master's and have a big move coming up in the next year it'll have to wait though. :hmm:

The Myung Proto/Sig looks really cool:

A bongo 6 is actually the last on my list. I just don't know if I'm going with HH or HS, so there might be a few that end up on the list:
5 HS, 6 HH, 6 HS.
:rollno:

I really like the color of yours. Wish I could've picked it up, but very glad you ended up with it.

Thanks man!

I want a Bongo 5H another 5HH as well.
Also a Ray 5H and 5HS or HH and a Big Al 5 SSS

For those unaware of the sonic virtues of the EB MM basses (SR5 in particular), I find mine to be really great at projecting punch and cutting through the mix.

Depending on the strings you use (I like nickel-plated rounds) and EQ settings, you can get very zingy at the high freqs or dub-tastic with massive lows & rolled-off highs.
Boost the lows, mids, & highs, dig-in a bit and hear the snarling grind.
To me it fits in with any type of music.

I like!

:)

I compiled this not long ago.
Since then G.A.S. has forced my hand to sell two of the six shown.
Sadly I left go of the Classic on the top left and the Dargie Bongo on the bottom right.
More or less a huge brain fart on my part I am thinking...????
Sadly miss them both already :crying:

BUT, on an up note....Selling the Dargie got me one beautiful... as new 2010 EBMM REFLEX HSS in white with black trim....It is truly one amazing bass...love it....
More or less the best of many EBMM basses wrapped up in one......will be snappin pics when time allows and sharing her....

As long as you don't sell that firemist Bongo you are welcome here! :D Gosh I love an orange Bongo!

Count me in! I've been in love with EBMMs for well over 20 years.

My beloved very early production '93 Sterling:

You have some nice basses, but that 93 Sterlling takes the cake for me. Love the finish!
