Sorry to repeat post, but I love to as a new EB/MM convert to jump in, as #115. Could anyone tell me if the b string is as good on the reg SR5, I know tonewise they must be a little different, as I'm going for a maple neck when I can fund it, I'm assuming another anniv. will be tough to find, I'll have to find a GC with one to check out.

After a long time away, I'm soooo happy that I finally own another Stingray. I sold my first one at a gig to a guy that offered me a lot of money for it, and I've regretted it ever since. Now I'm back with an extra string baby!

Here's a question for all you SR5 HH owners, who slap at all... Do you find the front pup, gets in the way on your pops?
I ask this question, because as tax season arrives, I've been considering an SR5, but frankly I have no idea which pup config I should go with, but HH seems a good bet, simply because it gives ya more choices.
So, I went to GC today, & futzed around a bit on one, I found my pop finger kept poking the pup. I supposed its something ya could get used to. Just curious if any SR5 HH owners had this issue.

Why? Cause I have two other Stingrays.
Ok, let me ask... have you tried an SR5 w/ a HS pup config? Does the additional spacing aleviate the spacing issue completely, or is it still a little cramped? I didnt see any SR5 HS's...
Frankly, we only play a couple of songs for slap, & I tend to use my Sad UV70 for that anyway. But, I felt the neck profile was very comfortable for it.
