That is gorgeous bro. Congrats

I know that this was posted several pages back, and that someone else may have already talked about it (I didn't read every comment in this gargantuan thread... sorry), but I have that identical bass (Sterling). Mine was made in June '03, which puts it as one of the earliest Sterlings. I would assume that yours is pretty close to around the same time. You have the 'Flea' bridge which was only made from '92-'94.

Sweet bass!

The first is an 88' Sterling (pre-Ernie Ball I think..) with an Ernie Ball Neck. The other is a standard mid 90's Ernie Ball Stingray 4. I want to put a neck with a rosewood fretboard on it but am running into trouble finding one. I talked to someone at Ernie Ball and they told me that they wouldn't sell me a replacement neck separately, which makes no sense to me. Anyone who has any info on this, I'd appreciate it. P.s. I want to join the 'Club'.. Thanks

Believe me, I checked - I haven't found a single Sterling that was left-handed in Pacific Blue Burst. I couldn't even find a right-handed one with that greenish tinge yours has - it's just not typical of the finish.

I'd have to order one to get it to those specs, but then that'd cost more...

You're unfairly lucky. :p

I own a left handed STINGRAY PBBB . It's a beauty . Ordered it through Bass central .
