These two are definitely keepers. The 4-popper 'Ray I owned a year or so ago was neat, but I'm just not a fretless dude so there you go.
Dude, the rug is probably worth more than both basses combined. Seriously. Those are hawt, especially the SR5. If it were me, I would sell the Sterling and get some new carpet...![]()
That's my dog, gettin' all artsy in the background.

The bass is pretty but that dog is too cute

So what do you think of that 20th SR5?
A lot of people thought I was goofy for ordering the single H (with so many other configurations available) but I haven't regretted it for one second.
Yep!

That's the one with the Tone Block, right?
Yessirree - tone block, alnico magnets in the pickup, revamped preamp....it's the only bass I own that really competes with the Bongos.
I thought "maybe I should have ordered the HH" once, but I'm not really sure why. The lower mid presence just has this oomph that is hard to describe, and the feel defies beyond believable. I rarely purchase Instant Keeper basses, but this is definitely one. I have considered ditching my Sterling because I don't like having duplicate-use basses, but they are quite different animals so perhaps I shouldn't.So what do you think of that 20th SR5?

Thanks. It's actually Bulgarian, but in a Persian style. Woman's family was in the Persian carpet business in Iran years ago, they have a few absolutely stunning pieces. We have two, but there will be more if I ever stop buying expensive basses.Ps. Nad I like the carpet. What is it, Persian?
Cool. I haven't seen any of these in Aus yet, do you know if a couple were brought down-under?
