I can't tell you enough how awesome this thing is. Plays like a dream!

I want to order a Hipshot Detuner (I put them on most of my basses)

I believe the Ultralight is what I need, but offhand do you know if I need the 3/8" or 1/2"?

I want to order a Hipshot Detuner (I put them on most of my basses)

I believe the Ultralight is what I need, but offhand do you know if it's 3/8" or 1/2"?

Don't know offhand- you can order the right model right from Rob's site if you want, or just email him to ask. His fours used to all come with an Xtender on the E- I'm not sure when they stopped doing that.

I just sold mine to fund this:

I'm in the process of changing strings (from light nickels to medium stainless), giving it a set-up, and a preamp swap.

Rob's stuff is insane. It took me a number of years and many other basses to remember that. All in all, of the true, "anything goes" custom boutique cats, Rob, Fodera, and Nordstrand take the cake for me.

Anyway, better pictures and a gig report to come soon enough.

P.S. For anyone with a maple-topped Elrick, I think the custom maple THG knobs may be up for sale as soon as I determine a fair price.
