More complex lower tones, more "wood," less twang, fundamental and sustain...to some extent.
Conceivably more pronounced dead spots.
More "vintage" sound, in other words.
I cordially hate hi-mass bridges on Fenders, but I love the cash people who don't know any better give for them.![]()
Do not concur. If a high-mass does anything, it improves sustain, if that's what you're after.
I do know better...for me. It seems like you "know better" for me too, so I guess we're at an impasse here...only my version of "knowing better" wins.
