My Honey Blonde Precision showed no sign of ever having a bad arse!I swapped out the BA II bridges on both my Jazz and P Highway Ones...Faint outline was left on my sunburst P-Bass, gone after a little polishing the area with some pledge. My Honey Blonde Jazz had no indication the larger bridge was ever mounted.

I have a 2006 jazz bass highway.
Could any of you tell me what model pickups bring?
What?
If you're asking what pickups are in it, the MIM 58358/9 set.
They're OK.
Got a Highway One P last week. I read that the Hipshot HB7's are a drop in replacement, with no extra drilling required, is that correct?
For anyone that has upgraded, are they noticeably better than the originals? Are the HB7's any lighter?
HB7 is the correct choice. You can always confirm with Hipshot if you are unsure. Their service is quite good. They are not noticeably lighter, but are more accurate and smoother in operation.
I intended to at least consider a notional "upgrade" of the machines on the two HOs I bought for gigging basses, but I don't see any practical advantage in it. Properly installed they work fine. I don't notice any advantage over them with the Fender/Hipshots on my American Standard. For anyone that has upgraded, are they noticeably better than the originals?

To my mind, this "upgrade" just amounts to more compul$ive scab-picking.
If you want to reduce weight, start with profitably offloading that boat-anchor BAII.
I also swapped the stock 58358/9 pickups for a set of OVs because they were on long sale and I was bored, but after comparing before/after DI digital test tracks in the studio, I don't think the difference (and there was some) was significant enough to have been worth the the effort or expense.
