I will say this, it was a few years back when i owned a ebs multidrive, but man did i not find any use for it. Tried it in many scenarios and just couldnt dig it. I was less educated with effects so that maybe was a reason as well. Years later i learned im just not much of a OD person, more of a fuzz and to a lesser extent distortion kinda guy. But even ive found applications for the UD and when i use it, it rocks. Curious to see what you think of the 2 compared. Maybe i made bad judgement on the multidrive in my younger days.
It's a good pedal and it cuts through well enough. Not very versatile though. Will post back with impressions.
Boy, those worthwhile blender pedals (with two separate foot switches and flexible controls) are expensive. I think I may end up building one from scratch...
That Dseed rocks right?!? It is very easy to find a quick and lovely delay sound. I still have yet to figure out the A/B on it. But the way it functions otherwise is great.
I use a Boss LS-2 for blending. Works perfectly fine for me.

I guess the shipping and customs handling in Norway pretty much negates the more than reasonable price, but thank you for the tip. On the other hand, I am pondering a DIY project where I build a DIY blender into a DIY pedal board... Could be fun.
The A/B function can be a little tricky at first but it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Once you find a sound you like either press the A/B switch to save or bypass to delete. Another great feature is the ability to select which one of your presets even if the pedal is in bypass. Hope that helps!
I usually keep one set for a nice subtle delay and another set for one that works with chordal swells w/my volume pedal.

Here I compare it with the EHX Small Stone. The Joyo is more subtle, and it goes from veeeeeeeeeery sloooow to pretty fast, while the EHX is more pronounced in both settings and goes from very slow to vry fst.
If you adjust the cycle to about the beat of the music, it is obvious that a clean bass tone phases out once per cycle in the EHX, while it does not in the Joyo. That is what annoyed me the most with the EHX.
Anyway. The Joyo Vintage Phase seems to be a pretty good MXR Phase 90 clone, and in its subtleness, it keeps the deep of the bass. To me it is a keeper. It will get its place in my band bass pedal board.

Care to expand on "the gain control is all over the place"?
I understand it may be sensitive but after all, it is modeled after an entry in the Tech 21 Character series.
Which are notoriously touchy, especially the "character" (voice, is what Joyo calls this I believe) and "drive" controls.
There is a delicate balance to be found between these knobs, per taste.
It may be that my copy was out of spec. But my bass was distinctly muffled in bypass mode compared when I took it out of the chain. The Bass / mid /Treble controls each seemed to increase the overall gain. So if I dialed in a mid cut....my gain nosedived....if I added mid boost, I had to pull back the gain by a lot. Then there's the gain itself, it's very effected by every other control, so I found myself tweaking the gain an awful lot. Every minor tweak to the other controls caused wild increases in gain. Even bypassed there seemed to be a gain boost. My Trace Elliot head's preamp was clipping and the input dial was only on the second click. I found the general tone to be slightly muffled, the circuitry was making things a lot less clear and this was true for bypass or engaged. So after about 10 minutes, I decided to re-box it and put it back in the packaging...too much effort. I was hoping to use this pedal as a final Overdrive and EQ but neither were particularly great for my needs.
I'm hoping I might find more joy in the UD pedal.
Thats interesting, I was just coming on here to say that I've crakced out my American (and Joyo comp) again nd been really enjoying them through my trace elliot.... It was for a recording session which required a very particular sub bassy sound so the pedals were always on but I thought they sounded ace. The track is still being mixed but maybe I'll try and get hold of some sound samples to put up here...

Gain on the amp (Trace Elliot GP12 SMX turned up until hitting orange on the Trace (recommended setting) Graphic EQ cut at 40 then a slopping boost to 180 then a gradual slope back down until the highs are cut gives a pretty huge sub sound.
