Official JPBASSES Club

Here's mine. I bought it used so I don't know much about it. Maybe another club member can provide some info.

This bass is in fact a plume that I made for Horace (Hman on TB).

Spanish cedar thick hollow body.
Walnut top and back and maple stringer
One piece wenge neck with acrylised gaboon ebony flat fingerboard
Wenge cavity cover
hipshot b bridge
John East / JP two bands preamp
JP pickups.

The bass is from september 2004 but you could confirm that with serial number on headstock side probably. EDIT I found the serial back 17092004!

One of my favorite builds and the one I used to illustrate the web page when we annouced JPbasses end

Peace,
JP

Long time my friend!

I hope you're ding well. So you'll be selling the Koa Zia 6 right? will you keep the Padouk Lucii 5?

An updated pic of your JPbasses would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards

Hi JP,
Sorry I missed the chance on your Plume 7... not the right timing and too many strings to work on... Guess I should have tried though.
Since you don't have a webpage I thought maybe this thread could act as a receptacle for the pics of all those wonderful creations of yours.
Have you consider building basses again?
Not even as a part time job? :D:crying:

Guess you'll have to build more bases then :D

Actually I won't...BUT there is an establisehd bass builder in the US who is gonna make my babies live again!!!

You'll be soon able to order a Naïa, Zia, Plume or Lucii with all my design + some fresh stuff in the US!

This is also why that would be cool to find out where the US JPbasses are.
