Wouldn't it be slightly strange to have your bass by someone else? Not sure why this is blowing my mind so much.
IMO the bass community lost a great luthier when JP stopped building basses. Always hoped (still do) he would eventually come back into building (at least part time). JP, care to comment?????
I should have bought your 31" sixer when i had the chance. Do you still have it?

Really? Care to share the specs?
You going for a short(er) scale 6 string again?
It was your work that helped to convince me to try a 33" 6 string, I've never looked back, got 33" 4, 5 and 6 strings now :hyper:

Eude

One skjoldslayer 4 string fretted
One Zia 6 string fretless

both 33" of course.

the rest of the specs is up to Pete ;) I love to let the luthier decide !

Thanks Eduardo.

Sorry but I'm not coming back to bass building. I do build wooden passive houses if you'd like one :)

I sold my personal Zia to someone in Japan. NO way to contact him now. I tried PMs, eail, internet, Facebook....no luck.

I wich I could buy it back :(

Looks great, JP! The Zia 6 is what I'm interested in seeing, though. ;) (I must have quoted the wrong post.haha)

The only picture i have for the 6 string fretless zia is this one:
