I have 2 in the works from Pete...
One Skjold and one JP by Skjold!
Wouldn't it be slightly strange to have your bass by someone else? Not sure why this is blowing my mind so much.

IMO the bass community lost a great luthier when JP stopped building basses. Always hoped (still do) he would eventually come back into building (at least part time). JP, care to comment?????Wouldn't it be slightly strange to have your bass by someone else? Not sure why this is blowing my mind so much.
Really? Care to share the specs?
You going for a short(er) scale 6 string again?
It was your work that helped to convince me to try a 33" 6 string, I've never looked back, got 33" 4, 5 and 6 strings now

One skjoldslayer 4 string fretted
One Zia 6 string fretless
both 33" of course.
the rest of the specs is up to PeteI love to let the luthier decide !
The 4 is in production yes.
I'll post pics tonight if I can.

Looks great, JP! The Zia 6 is what I'm interested in seeing, though.(I must have quoted the wrong post.haha)
I love the JP designs so much. I definitely see myself talking to Pete about one of these at some point.
