Pete what woods did you use for this bass? How are the electronics different from the Skjold line of basses?

Not sure what the woods are on all the basses. Looking forward to the new lines. How different in tone are these going to be from the Skjokd line?
Hey Mark,
these basses will have their own signature tone I am sure. I will be using the original pickups that JP used. The basses also have their own dimensions and body mass which give them their sound. I won't completely know what to expect until I have made several of each with a few different body woods and fingerboards etc. The good news is these aren't designs that haven't been tested before, they definately have an identity. It will be great to discover it together with the new customers.

The body is swamp ash with a curly Katalox top. The neck is hard rock maple with a curly quatersawn maple FB and black mother of pearl dots. Peghead veneer is also curly Katalox.
