And the US BG5 and standard BG5 Skyline will be due?
+1, Chi sonics are nice and all, but I'd like a P pickup on a P bass,
I'd like to try a P with a Chi at the bridge though....

Yeah, I'm with you on the whole bedroom vs live gig EQ disparity. What I'm dealing with now is that I find when I rely too much on the mids I end up sounding more aggressive than punchy, and I don't need aggressive for any of the music I play. I actually don't prefer a scooped tone, even for solo playing... must have been all that Jaco I listened to in my early years.
Sounds like we're close with the enhance knob settings... I know most guys hate the thing like the plague, but it seems to smooth things out and offer a new palette to tweak from. I'm just getting settled in with Eden heads after being an SWR guy for most of my playing years. Thanks for your input!
my new dual j came in today, ill try and get better pics up when photobucket decides to work

Great bass! I love the darkstar pickups and they probably kill in the hollowbody! PM NUBS for a number. Awesome awesome.
and I'd like to say that the bass looks so much better than the pic on GC. That blue is rich!

So, I was planning my budget for the month of March, and my recent acquisitions have somehow drained a significantly larger portion of my money than I had planned for. Short story, I'm totally broke, so I relisted the 4-94 (and other things) before I even had a chance to break it in
God, I don't know how I do it sometimes, but I really, really screwed up...
have you tried the double CHIs yet? they sound phenominal and you can get a decent P-tone out of them as well as alot of other vibes.....just as Markus....he thinks the CHIs do a great "recorded P sound"....even live!!!!
it is much nicer than the GC pic, they marked it at 5 stars for conditionand I'd like to say that the bass looks so much better than the pic on GC. That blue is rich!

I'm not knocking Chi's at all, they do sound awesome(slapping them on the hollow, on the sites clips is incredible), but I really do prefer a regular P pickup in a P bass.
