There's something very nicely "organic" about the trans-white body color contrasting with the rosewood board and the maple inlaid dot markers. Nice shades of white, beige and brown. Very clean and simple. Refreshing and warm at the same time.

Aaahh, like a heavily creamed lightly sweetened cup of joe..... refreshing and warm

and I said I'd love a 5 string version

WOW, when did Lakland start making these again??? I have a trans-white Dual J 5 string made back in 2002 that I adore. (See photo below) These are very fine basses with killer vintage tone. Mine sports a pair of Basslines and it sound amazingly sweet and rich! Like "butta"........

That IS sharp!! Have you seen the pics of the black powder-coated bridge? That would look good on your bass too.
